In a quarterfinal match in the NECW Invitational Tag Team Tournament for the Vacant Tag Team Championships

In a quarterfinal match in the NECW Invitational Tag Team Tournament for the Vacant Tag Team Championships, The Baker Boys got past The Wild Boys with a double team clothesline move.

The debuting "Nightmare" Nick Steel made short work of "Mr. Undefeated" Matt Spectro by submission. Spectro's friend "Future Superstar" Ryan Matthews interjected post-match and also found himself in one of Steel's dangerous submissions. Matthews quickly tapped out.

D.C. Dillinger with Sean Gorman defeated Jason Blade by countering an O'Connor Roll to gain the pin fall in a match that NEITHER man viewed as an exhibition and both pulled out all the stops in. This one really turned into the mat classic that D.C. Dillinger predicted earlier.

Antonio "The Promise" Thomas defeated the debuting Brandon Webb following his reverse neck breaker finish. Fans instantly picked up on the cocky attitude of "The Promise" and turned on him loudly. Post Match, Thomas made it very clear that he felt that NECW Triple Crown Champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury had disrespected him and he would get revenge and win the Triple Crown in doing so.

As Thomas left, his young opponent was starting to recover from his hard fought match. He was then jumped by Scott Osbourne and Brian Cairo. Cairo revealed that Webb was a friend of Team Cairo member J-Busta. Cairo said that Webb would pay for his friend's actions. Osbourne tore into Webb and Cairo said that as of the next business day, he was going to go to the NECW offices and make sure that Busta's NECW contract was terminated.

As a special treat for the fans, a raffle was held for one lucky fan to get to choose their favorite NECW star for a memorable photo opportunity in ring. The young woman who won came to the ring and surprised ring announcer Chris Norman and many of the NECW faithful by not choosing a wrestler like Fury, Blade or Brandon Locke, but instead chose Michael Sain. Sain, a former NECW Heavyweight Champion, slowly made his way to the ring, but seemed to take exception when the young lady touched him. He again berated her as she stood too close to him. As the photographer went to get them in the shot, Sain grabbed the poor woman by the arm wrenching it violently. NECW security rushed to her aid. Sain seemed to use some sense of logic and released the hold appearing calmer. As soon as security let their guard down, the Sain grabbed the young lady on his shoulders attempting to hit the Straight Jacket Driver. Evan Siks bolted from the back to save the fan. The two then got into a huge brawl that required just about every member of the NECW Roster and personnel to finally break it up.

Sean Gorman returned to the ring and said that he had pulled some strings and there would be a change to the WWW Feature match. He called out his former wrestler Tanya Lee and said he found her an opponent. He then brought out Ryan Matthews. Matthews made some inappropriate comments and innuendos towards the former WWW Champion. Tanya made it very clear that she had no problem backing up her words the match was on. Tanya was able to overcome interference by Matt Spectro and Sean Gorman to pin Matthews. Tanya, who was one of the most hated members of the NECW/ WWW rosters as early as 2 months ago was rewarded with immense support and cheers by an arena full of new fans.

In the main event of the evening for the NECW Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship, "Big" Rick Fuller managed by Brian Cairo faced off with the reigning champion "Straight Edge" Brian Fury. Both men gave all they had to give in this hard-hitting match. Antonio "The Promise" Thomas came out 20 minutes or so into the match and grabbed a ringside photographer. He went to pose with the Triple Crown Title belt. Fury caught wind of this and confronted Thomas. In the interim, Senior Official Rich Bass counted Fury out. As Fuller was announced as the winner, Cairo grabbed the microphone saying that Team Cairo came to win the title and they wanted the match restarted. Angry that he did not win the title, Fuller attacked Fury but was stopped by NECW officials and Sheldon Goldberg. Goldberg said that with Thomas and Cairo interjecting themselves, just restarting the match would not be the most fair option. He instead offered a rematch for December 28th back in Quincy. Fuller was so upset that he grabbed Sheldon Goldberg by the lapels and scolded the NECW President. Fury rushed in and knocked Fuller out of the ring. Cairo tried to argue this point and got in the face of Goldberg. In the meantime, Fury snuck in behind Cairo on all fours while the NECW President pushed Cairo onto his backside and out of the ring. Goldberg then announced that the rematch was on for Friday night, December 28th and that Cairo, Thomas and everyone else was banned from ringside and if anyone came out to interfere, they'd be fired.

NEWS

All of us at Power Trip Wrestling want to apologise for the very late cancellation of PTW "BulletProof". Due to reasons beyond the control of everyone involved, we had to make a judgement call at 5.45pm to postpone the show.

For the record, PTW officials and wrestlers who could do so, stayed around to speak to the fans, and signed posters of the show, and also free dvd's were handed out; because we appreciated the fans who did come out in what was pretty nasty weather.

Much as we're upset, sometimes you just have to chalk things down to the elements, and the fact that "these things happen".

On a positive note, we thank every person who has supported and been behind Power Trip Wrestling since we started in March of this year. We've had some great up's, some down's, and one thing we've always been - is loud. The other thing we are, and forever will be, is grateful for our fans and wrestlers.

The now legendary 'PTW Office' is now closed for Christmas & New Year, though emails, questions, booking related issues; and enquiries will still be answered. PTW Owner Peter Staniforth is set to face his fourth knee operation later next week, and will be offline somewhat; but we will be getting back to any correspondence as soon as is possible.

Thank you for 2007. Here's hoping we can make 2008 even better!

The Elk's City Lodge was never so electrified than they were on December 1st, 2007. The night of Full Circle 5

FULL CIRCLE 5: 5TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW RESULTS

FC5 began with NEW FULL TIME RCW ANNOUNCER KENNY YOUNG bringing us the first match. JD Santos battled Vance Desmond. These A great match that showcased the technical skills and aerial skills that these two possess. Desmond decided that skill was not enough to put Santos away so he resorted to dirty tactics. A low blow forced the referee to stop the match and award JD Santos the victory by DQ. Commissioner Exotic E came to the ring and ordered the referee to continue the match. Santos upset Desmond for the 3 count. JD walked away the winner but many feel the battle has just begun for these two.

Commissioner Exotic E addressed the crowd at FC5. He didn't understand why the RCW fans never show him respect. He played the what is now deemed "Loony-Gate" video to remind them that Mike Horton was the guilty one. That Horton had conspired with IOU. After the footage another piece of footage began to roll that was quickly ordered to be stopped by Exotic E. We at RCWONLINE.COM have learned that footage showed what really happened in that room that day between Loony, Ace Gigolo, and Trik Nasty. Mike Horton was indeed the victim. This footage will be shown here on RCWONLINE.COM this week. Tank Runyon hit the ring and told Exotic E that you cannot demand respect.....you have to earn it. Tank now believed in Loony's innocence. IOU (Trik Nasty, Ace Gigolo, & Onyx) hit the ring. Trik talked about the cage match. How he would not only retain his title but retire Tank since it was after all Title VS Career. Exotic E made a shocking announcement to try and win the RCW fans over. He banned the other members of IOU from the cage match. Trik said that was fine but right now isn't the cage match. IOU attacked Tank who was quickly save by Randy Allen, Dirk Extreme, and Ricochet.

Randy "The King" Allen, Ricochet, and "Big Guns" Jeff Cannon defeated Onyx, Wes Cannon, and Ranger Bob in a 6-man tagteam match. Onyx's tagteam partner (C.O. Hustler) was nowhere to be found at FC5 so Ranger Bob was forced to step into the ring. Jeff Cannon was impressive in his RCW debut stating that he was definitely not related to Wes Cannon. In the end Ricochet knocked Onyx out of the ring with a superkick as Randy Allen dropped the elbow onto Wes Cannon to pick up the win.

The RCW Tagteam Title would be determined next in the FIRST EVER DOUBLE CASKET MATCH. These were not pine boxes....these were legit caskets! Flash Fury and Nikki Tyler had their hands full with Judas Thorn and The Juggulator. In the end Flash and Nikki had The Juggulator in a casket. They teamed up on Judas Thorn. Tyler opened the casket and out popped The Mastermind who cracked his cane across the back of Nikki Tyler's head. By this time The Juggulator was out of the other casket. He and Judas placed Tyler in the casket. Then The GODS decimated Flash Fury before placing Fury in the other casket thus ending the longest title run in RCW history. Judas Thorn and the Juggulator are now not only the RCW WORLD TAGTEAM CHAMPIONS but are lead by on of the most devious men in wrestling....The Mastermind.

TITLE VS TITLE, Last Man Standing. TV Champion, "The American Idol" Dirk Extreme faced what has become his arch nemesis IOU's Ace Gigolo (Internet Champion) in this grueling and brutal match. Singapore Cane, Chairs, and tables were all used at one point in this match. Extreme delivered a double underhook SUPERPLEX through a table that end up injuring the leg of Extreme. Ace's partner Onyx hit the ring and battered Extreme's leg with a chair. After that Extreme tried to fight back was stopped by Ace Gigolo who placed Extreme's head against the ring post and delivered three sickening shots that put the lights out on the TV Champion. Ace Gigolo is now a dual champion in RCW holding both the TV and Internet Titles.

Tyson Rogers was happy about his #1 contender's match against Hollie Wood. Maybe a little too happy which some would say made the Weapon of Mass Destruction member a little over confident. Hollie Wood looked impressive in her first ever match as she took Rogers by surprise and nearly scored a surprise pin on Rogers not once but twice. Once Rogers seen that Hollie was embarrassing him, he took her out quickly and then punished her some more. Even after getting a 3 count Tyson along with Wes Cannon and Ranger Bob decided to permanently end Hollie Wood's wrestling career. After delivering a splash and going for a second, Randy Allen came to Hollie's aid. Hollie Wood was helped to the back and we are told has some bruised ribs from the attack that would have surely lead to broken ribs if not for Allen.

The Main Event was next. The STEEL CAGE. TITLE VS CAREER. Tank Runyon and Trik Nasty met inside the steel cage for one of the most memorable matches in RCW history. Tank got busted open early into the match. To say the blood was gushing is an understatement. Runyon bled buckets of blood almost forcing the refs to stop the match. Nasty stayed on the wound. Tank delivered a powerbomb off of the top rope and was about to crawl out the door of the cage when Commissioner Exotic E showed his true colors when he slammed the cage door into the face of Runyon. It was a plan all along so that they could vanquish Runyon from wrestling. Trik made it through the door and won the match.....or did he. Within seconds music that RCW fans have heard only on a couple of occasions rang through the building. THE PHOENIX, owner and president of RCW made his way to the ring. Then on the Big Screen, The Phoenix delivered a message. A message that said that the man in the ring wearing the Phoenix mask was not the Phoenix, but was the NEW RCW COMMISSIONER because Exotic E was FIRED! Exotic E was livid. The man in the ring unmasked to reveal that the new Commissioner was none other than Mike "Loony" Horton! Horton thought Exotic E into the steel. He then ordered the match to restart. Nasty and Runyon continued their battle. Both men began climbing down opposite sides of the cage. Tank Runyon landed his feet on the ground first and became the NEW RCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION! The crowd went into hysterics! A celebration for Tank and Loony then began in the ring with confetti cannons that put the end to a magical night in RCW. What will 2008 bring? Mike Horton is back at the helm and RCW's future never looked so bright. See everyone on January 5th as we return to the Elk's City Lodge in Portsmouth, OH.

While Castagnoli was listening to this Hero used the Hero's Welcome to pin Castagnoli in six seconds and take the second fall.

In the third fall Hero worked on Claudio's arm and shoulder injured from the first fall, trying over and over again to take Claudio out, but Claudio won the third fall at 3:42 with a rollthrough and an armbar. Afterwards an enraged Hero beat down Claudio on his bad shoulder. Intermission followed.

About The Event

For 12 years, through the generous support of Burlington County College, UWC has been raising awareness and toys for the US Marines Corps Reserves Toys For Tots Campaign. In fact, they have been told by the Marines that they are the LARGEST SINGLE EFFORT TOYS FOR TOTS TOY COLLECTOR IN BURLINGTON COUNTY!!! It is estimated that through UWC, more than 10,000 toys have been collected to date! Spectators bring a new unwrapped toy to the event to gain free admission.

Once inside the gymnasium, spectators are given free door prize tickets (with additional tickets for sale). Plan to spend about 30 minutes looking over the 30+ door prizes. Hot food and cold beverages are available for sale. Holiday music and themed wrestling matches are offered througout the night. Door prizes are awarded during intermission and again at the end of the night. Very dedicated, highly skilled and professionally trained wrestlers donate their time and talent to help raise toys for this event! The wrestlers sign autographs during intermission.

Many will have promotional photos and merchandise for sale. Members of the US Marines will be on hand to collect the toys. A representative from Burlington County Times and South Jersey's Courier Post are usually on hand taking photos and interviewing fans. 5 years ago, UWC invited all Scout groups to register to participate in a friendly competition where the top four collecting packs, dens, troops, etc. will win CASH PRIZES totalling more than $500! (Cash Prizes are made possible through a generous donation from Lucas Dodge of Mount Holly. Scout Only door prizes are available.

This year, through sponsorships from Atlantic Storage Solutions, H&R Block's Trenton District, as well as from UWC Owners Dave and Lois Thomas, Booker Jeff Bradley and Commissioner Mike Grimaldi - TNA Superstar RAVEN will appear. This is a special one day engagement (December 8th) and everyone is thrilled that Raven has set aside time to help raise even more toys for the cause. Other wrestlers scheduled to appear include Steve Corino, Colby Corino, Reckless Youth, Don Montoya, The Orphan, Twiggy Ramirez, Cell Block 4 Prisoner 08015, Section 8, Joe Rules, Roxie Cotton and many many others! For more information about the event, call 609-723-3049. Card Subject To Change

UXW PRESENTS THE 15TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW!

The Central Florida Fairgrounds Pavilion, 4603 W. Colonial Dr, Orlando, FL

JAKE "THE SNAKE" ROBERTS STILL IN IT FOR HIMSELF?

The last time we saw Jake "The Snake" Roberts in UXW he let the fans know he doesn't give a damn about them and has been wrestling for himself and for the money. They can boo all they want to, it doesn't mean anything to him. He just wants to beat someone up and get a payday. He brutalized Dany Only at Hardcore Wrestlewar, leaving him in a pool of his own blood to prove his point.

What's next for one of the greatest WWF intercontinental champions ever? Will he go after his student, Raven? Maybe he wants to make sure Kevin Sullivan knows he's the master of mind games. Or perhaps Jake is going to make an example of someone again. Everybody in UXW is on alert because the Jake you see today is unstable and more vicious than ever.

"THE RAGING BULL" MANNY FERNANDEZ!

Manny Fernandez has the reputation of being one of the toughest hombres to ever hit the wrestling scene and is coming to UXW to show he hasn't lost a step. Manny made his name in the NWA in the 80's, first teaming up with Dusty Rhodes to win the NWA Tag Team Titles. After that he was formed other memorable tag teams like B & B (with the Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant), a team with Ravishing Rick Rude and the Latin Connection with Hector Guerrero.

As a singles wrestler he's also feuded with the likes of Harley Race, Terry Funk, Wahoo McDaniel, Abdullah the Butcher, and Baron Von Raschke. He's been the NWA Florida Heavyweight Champion, WWC Puerto Rican Heavyweight Champion, NWA Mid Atlantic Brass Knuckles Champion and more. Manny is someone who has feuded and beaten the best of the best. Now you'll get the chance to see how he stacks up with the current crop of wrestling talent in UXW.

Make sure you join us on January 26th at the Central Florida Fairgrounds to celebrate 15 years of UXW!

RESULTS

December 1, 2007 – Long Island, Furious Fallout

Nick Noshus d. “Firebird” Jorge Santi

For the third show in a row, Nick Noshus cheated his way to victory against Jorge Santi.  Noshus came down to the ring wearing street clothes and told VPW fans that he was tired of beating Santi and that he was giving himself the night off.  Just as Noshus walked through the curtain to the backstage area, Jorge Santi attacked him and brought Noshus back to the ring.  Finally the match was underway.  Once again, it looked like Santi was about to win, but underhanded tactics prevented that from happening.

“All Around Best” Xavier d. 4x4

In this special challenge match, Xavier defeated the monster known as 4x4.

“The Good Guy” Azrieal d. “The Miracle” Javi-Air

In another chapter of their series of matches that have occurred in VPW throughout 2006 and 2007, Azrieal defeated Javi-Air.  Back in October, it was Javi-Air who defeated Azrieal in the first round of the championship tournament.  This time Azrieal didn’t have a tournament to worry about.  This time Azrieal was out for revenge.  Defeating his opponent wasn’t enough for “The Good Guy.”  After the match, Azrieal continued to assault Javi-air until Azrieal felt satisfied.  What started out as a competitive series of matches has now gotten very personal.

“Ultra Sexy” Joe So Delicious d. “Cornerman” Juan Jeremy

Best Bodies, Inc. member, Joe So Delicious, came into this match not knowing who his opponent was.  When he got down to the ring, Delicious informed the fans that he didn’t know or care who his opponent was for the night.  He only knew that he was facing someone from WWE Hall of Famer Johnny Rodz’ wrestling school.  His opponent ended up being one of Rodz’ head trainers, Juan Jeremy.  After a hard-fought match, Delicious came out on top.

The Jerry Fitzwater Show

Jerry Fitzwater sang a holiday tune down to the ring to kick off an interview with Joe So Delicious.  Delicious went off on Fitzwater and then called out fellow Best Bodies, Inc. members, Sabotage and VPW Champion, Jason Static to join him.  Fitzwater was shoved down in the corner and Best Bodies, Inc. took over.  Static bragged about how he recently relocated to Louisville, Kentucky and how it pained him to come back to Long Island.  He then addressed Grim Reefer and how he defeated him in the finals of the championship tournament.  Static said that if Reefer wanted a shot at him, he’d have to go through all his guys, starting tonight with Sabotage.  The VPW Champion then went on to run down his opponent for the night, Mack Daddy Flexx.  At this point, Grim Reefer and Mack Daddy Flexx came down to the ring.  Best Bodies, Inc. immediately jumped out of the ring.  Reefer said that they were both tired of the numbers game and that he brought extra back-up tonight.  His first back up was Jay Lover.  Then he said he had even more back-up and out came Don Tony with Carmine the dog.  With the odds finally against them, Best Bodies, Inc. retreated to the back.

Major Intencity/Jay Lover/Chopsaw/Nightmare w/ Don Tony d. Joey Everlast/Johnny Suburban/Mr. Professional/Scotty Rio w/ Jack O’Hearts and Vinny the Guido

This was an eight man elimination match.  The sole survivors were Chopsaw and Major Intencity.  The last man left on the other team was Johnny Suburban, but he didn’t have much of a chance wrestling 2 on 1.  Richie Tyler was originally set to appear in this match, but Tyler missed his flight back to New York and was replaced by Jay Lover after Don Tony took care of business.  During the match, an unknown female was spotted in the aisle observing the match.  It looked like she had her eye on someone in the ring.  Also during the match, Sabotage kidnapped Carmine the dog, who was at ringside with Carmine.

Grim Reefer w/ Don Tony d. “Masculine Marvel” Sabotage

Sabotage came down to the ring with Carmine the Dog, but thankfully, OZHB member, Jay Lover came to Carmine’s rescue.  Grim Reefer defeated Sabotage and got himself one step closer to getting a rematch with Jason Static.

Eclipse w/ Jack O’Hearts d. Livewired

After having no success at the last few events, Livewired finally defeated Eclipse.  Once the loss set in, Eclipse snapped and blamed their long-time manager, Jack O’Hearts for the loss.  Jack O’Hearts was then thanked for his service by getting cracked in the head with his infamous briefcase.  Then Eclipse positioned a motionless Jack O’Hearts in the center of the ring with his briefcase over his face.  Both Xandar Page and Jay Delta, berated the crowd and then officially fired their manager.  Just as Jay Delta was about to go off the top rope and crush Jack O’Hearts, the other 2 members of the Crew, Johnny Suburban and Joey Everlast hit the ring.  Eclipse halted their attack on Jack O’Hearts and went off on their partners.  Everlast and Suburban said they had enough of Eclipse and a brief fight broke out.  While Joey Everlast checked on Jack O’Hearts, Johnny Suburban made a challenge to Eclipse for the next VPW event.  Suburban said that he and Everlast are the Suburban SWAT Team and that Eclipse were marked men.  Jack O’Hearts was then carried to the back by several VPW wrestlers.

“Best Body in the Biz” Jason Static d. Mack Daddy Flexx

Jason Static defeated Mack Daddy Flexx via submission in his first title defense.  Both Sabotage and Joe So Delicious did their best to distract Mack Daddy Flexx during the match, and unfortunately for Flexx, those distractions may have done him in.  After the match, Sabotage stayed in the ring to show off his self-proclaimed “colossal” physique.  The OZHB gang of Grim Reefer, Don Tony, Jay Lover and Carmine the Dog seized the opportunity to get further revenge for Sabotage’s animal cruelty earlier in the night.  Don Tony cracked a canola tray over Sabotage, knocking him out.  Carmine the dog, with an assist from Grim Reefer, gave Sabotage a stinkface/broncobuster combination to end the night.
