- WSOC-TV in Charlotte is reporting that Ric Flair is facing assault charges stemming from a road rage incident last Wed. on I-485. An unnamed driver claims that Flair flashed his car lights behind him. After pulling his car off of the road, he recognized the man getting out of the car behind him as Flair. Flair allegedly grabbed the man by the neck, then proceeded to damage his car. Charlotte police have confirmed that outstanding warrants have been issued for Flair, charging him with simple assault and damage to personal property. Due to storylines, Flair did not appear on WWE Raw from Cleveland last night. When contacted, Flair's attorney, Richard Finnell, claims that Flair is unaware of the charges and is due back in Charlotte today.
