A group based in Indiana called Main Event Championship Wrestling has announced plans to go national. The owner/ promoter,John Collins, who owns an arbitration firm, has solid plans which include health benefits and a 401k plan. Collins has signed Buff Bagwell, Sandman, Tracy Smothers and is looking at Terry Taylor and Curt Hennig. He has talked with Randy Savage, Scott Hall and The Road Warriors. Television starts on Sept 18 on a 6 station network which includes The Sunshine Network, available on DIRECTV. Talks are underway with the majority of the remaining ECW-WCW rosters, not under contract. The group hs tours planned for Canada and has the ECW Arena in Philly booked for Aug 11.
