Wrestling Sunday / March 25
The Wrestling Observer is reporting that TNN has offered time for WCW on Sat nights between 11 pm and 1 am ET. Mon's Nitro and Raw shows will include a hint at the timeslot for the new WCW, which from all reports, will retain its identity, but will share talent with the WWF. The Hardy Boyz are in Panama City, feuling rumors that they will appear on Nitro on Mon night. Paperwork on the deal will be finalized next week. Two of the WCW's guaranteed contracts have already spoken out: Kevin Nash will not return to the ring for the WWF, choosing instead to collect the $1.6 million remaining on his contract. Ric Flair, on the other hand, is looking forward to working for Mc Mahon, saying, " He has been great to me personally." ......
Someone in the offices @ WCW is offering bonus pay to those who show up this Mon night who are not being courted by the WWF. After all, that is the only real incentive @ this point. These include: Buff Bagwell, Lex Luger, Scott Steiner, Rick Steiner, Konan, and Jeff Jarrett.
