- WWF Smackdown did an overnight rating of 4.7. The WWF finished fourth in the night's ratings.
- Tori has been released from the WWF. Hence, she was not at the Tough Enough show @ WWF NY.
- Bobby Heenan has a book coming out soon, co-written by WOW writer Steve Anderson.
- Jasmin St Claire struts her stuff in Columbia, SC @ Heartbreakers Oct 3-6.
- Road Dogg Jesse James has developed a rep for no-showing indy dates after promising, and, in some cases, accepting front money, to appear. The latest no-show came on Sep 21 in Monroeville, Pa.
- Vince Russo, formerly of WCW and the WWF, now promotes under the WWA banner in Australia. His latest venture promises a topless female match on a ppv next month. One of the competitors is Leah Meow.
- Jimmy Hart & Universal are ready to launch the eXtreme Wrestling Federation. Bret Hart acts as commish. Signed to do commentary are Gene Okerlund, Bobby Heenan, Jerry Lawler and Rena Mero.
- Vince Mc Mahon fell 104 places over the previous year to finish at # 364 on Forbes Mag 400 Richest Americans List for the year.
- Helen Hart , the matriarch of the Hart family, was rushed to the hospital on Fri night after collapsing. Preliminary indications are a stroke.
- Goldberg & Rick Steiner signed autographs at Ground Zero on Fri afternoon for rescue personell and policemen.
