- The ME for WWES in New York's Madison Square Garden on Sep 20 is a four-way battle for the WWE Title with Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, The Big Show and The Undertaker. The man enforcing the rules will be Vince McMahon.
- Torrie Wilson has been named the third most beautiful women in the Pacific Northwest by Tacoma, Washington's Evening Magazine Show.
- Speaking of Torrie, WWE is working on an angle which would have Jamie Noble and Billy Gunn arguing over who is the father of Torrie's unborn baby. Wilson's hubby Billy Kidman is said to be fighting the execution of the angle.
- Shannon Ward, aka WCW's Daffney, will soon debut in WWE.
- Despite what you may have read, Hulk Hogan is not joining with Clear Channel Communications for a farewell tour. My sources at Clear Channel tell me that they have no contract or dealings with Hogan.
- NWA East champion Nikita Allanov takes on former NWA New York champion Magic tonight in McKeesport, Pa.
- Look for HHH to drop the WWE World Title @ Summerslam, then to regain it, either in two months or @ WWE Wrestlemania. Goldberg's limited contract dates will likely prevent him from taking the belt. The odds-on favorite appears to be Chris Jericho.
- Bobby Heenan has been declared cancer-free by his physician and will soon write a second book.
- WWE Smackdown posted an overnight rating of 4.3, despite not being seen in the Northeastern United States due to the power outage. Various stations have rescheduled the program, most of them to broadcast today. WOR, ch 9 in New York, did not air the program on Thu night and will not reschedule it.
- MSNBC will broadcast Jesse Ventura's new program from St Paul, Minn on Saturdays, beginning soon.
