- The Rock is set to sign for a sequel to The Scorpion King, with a base salary of $10 million. Estimates are that with all of his projects, he will be absent from the WWF for up to a year. He appeared on Craig Kilborn's Late Show on Thu night hyping Scorpion King.
- The WWF wants to talk with Lionel Tate, the youngster who used pro wrestling as the line of defense in his murder trial. The WWF has an outstanding suit pending against Tate's lawyer for the use of that line of defense.
- WWF Smackdown scored an final rating of 3.4, placing UPN in fifth place on Thu night.
- The WWF has officially filed for the trademark WWFE, in anticipation of necessary change.
- Japanese Hardcore Wrestling 2 airs tomorrow night on selected cable systems. The show includes a Firewall Death Match, Barbed Wire and Glass Board.
- Brandi Wine is back with Southern Ch Wrestling after an absence of 4 years. She did television commentary in Raleigh this past Thu night.
- Scotty 2 Hotty faces neck surgery on May 7 which could keep him out of action for a year.
- Matt Hardy will miss the first night of this week's tour of Germany to be with Lita, who has neck surgery in San Antonio on Tues.
- Due to family emergencies, Buh Buh Dudley will NOT be on the German tour. Ric Flair will wrestle as his substitute.
