- WWF Raw airs tonight from Ottawa, Ont. The WWF travels to Montreal, Que. tomorrow to tape Smackdown.
- The NWA Heavyweight Title was held up Sat night in St Petersburg, Fl @ the 53rd Anniversary show, promoted by NWA-Florida's Howard Brody. The ref stopped the bout when it was determined that champion Steve Corino had suffered an in-ring concussion from his opponent, Shinya Hashimoto. Both competitors were said to have worked the match in very stiff fashion. Later, Brody was punched in the face by former ECW manager Bill Alfonso, who demanded to be paid for the evening, although he was not booked to work the show.
