- Stu Hart, the patriarch of Canada's First Family of Wrestling, died on Thurs in Calgary from complications of diabetes and pneumonia. Hart was 88.
- The state of Maryland is prepared to levy WWE the highest possible fine, $2000, should the plans for the upcoming Vince McMahon vs Stephanie McMahon match continue. WWE has respnded by saying that the check will be waiting upon conclusion of the match.
