There's something about Books A Million in High Point. That's where I met Gina, and, this afternoon, had another one of those chance encounters which will leave me thinking for the next few days. I got out of the Thunderbird and began walking towards the store,
and I noticed her. A quick glance showed me that she was petite, in her mid-to-late 30's, with shoulder-length brunette hair. As I looked up at her, I saw that she was looking my way, too. A smile from her got her a smile back, and hers was beautiful. As we passed, we each said Hi, only to move on. I should have stopped, but I didn't. As I entered the store, I stopped at the door to watch her get into her car and slowly drive away.
