Rob's Journal

Wednesday, September 5, 2001..... Random thoughts: I'm waiting on my laptop, checking and tracking its movements every day now.... I have a newfound respect for teachers of exceptional children, yet I do not understand why anyone would choose to base his/her teaching career on that specialty...teaching truly takes heart and determinaton... I subbed for an Honors sophomore English class yesterday morning. The topics included Oedepus Rex, Wally World, the World Wrestling Federation and North Rowan Tennis... Life these days is happening so very quickly that I don't have time to think... some of you who know me would argue that is a good thing... many meetings at school.... PTA last night; home around 10:00... Updated the website....Out of bed this morning at 5:15... I need to find the beach... again...it's been awhile... It's easy to get caught up in the everyday and to place the focus on yourself. I try never to forget the importance of human contact, discussion and.. listening.. Even though I'm working in Rowan County once again, there are some people living and working there who I am unable to see, and miss greatly... It's strange what life's circumstances dictate sometimes... Mom and dad's anniversary is tomorrow...And mom's birthday comes up on the 19th.... Just a few of the thoughts dwelling in my mind this Wednesday afternoon in September. I'd love to hear yours.
