Tuesday Night, January 30........ My friend Mrs. Donnell died today. She was the wife of my first principal. She had suffered through altzheimers for some time and had recently contracted pneumonia. She had been in a nursing home for awhile. I love her and Mr Donnell. They "adopted" me when I first began teaching at South Rowan 17 years ago. I'll be at the service tomorrow night in China Grove, and the funeral on Thursday. May God Bless You, Mrs. Donnell. Rest in Peace.
