Wednesday Night November 29....11 PM ET..... Home early. The Greensboro Coliseum received a phone call from Tenn yesterday morning, saying that, "due to illness of one of the singers," tonight's show was cancelled. After getting my refund tonight, I went to Four Seasons Mall, where I found the announcement in today's editions of the News and Record. Five cities were cancelled: Chattanooga, Asheville, Greensboro, Jacksonville and Orlando. While in Record World, I found a double tape set, Arch Allies: Styx and REO, taped on June 9 in St Louis. Greensboro must have been on the last leg of the tour; the show will not be rescheduled. Tonight, the sounds of REO's Greatest Hits will send me to sleep.
