Final Report
We've decided to do a project which uses a microprocessor to save energy by turning on a block heater only at a preset time and temperature. It will incorporate an Intel 8085, RAM, ROM, and other associated chips. Time will be kept using a Dallas DS1287 Real Time Clock. Temperature will be measured using a thermistor through an ADC. It will have a keypad to enter times and a LCD to display information.
