Pine needle coiling workshop Carthage, NC Private, one-on-one workshops in artist's studio Classes are usually 5-6 hours. During class, new students learn the basic techniques of pine needle basketry, and will make a small 3-nut tray. Sevearl stitches are learned along with oval start and the pine needle knot start. The advanced student can work on whatever techniques that need help with, i.e., handles, lids, freeform, advanced stitching, wrapping and meandering coils, etc. |
