"I got the inspiration for this while attending an outdoor wedding. My recycled wood is the front of a birdhouse shaped flower pot holder that had seen better days. It was already painted. I used natural green needles with purple and teal green dyed needles for the accent rows, then put a piece of birch bark on the back and finished off the edges with Spanish moss. The small bird's nest in the corner is also made with Spanish moss with small white frosted beads for the eggs. The bird on the peg is a cardinal, which is Indiana's state bird."
