Another clan game, this time against Prince Valiant of Clan Camelot. We both had bad setups, but my planets were in a worse position. Fortunately for me, everything I came across for the first few turns was a 50+ agriculture planet, so I knew I could pop trick anything I found at the end of the chain. I eventually found 20,19, which had 0 agriculture. I decided to trick it anyways, since I had explored both links off of it. So I tricked with the whole chain from BRD to 20,19. I built a few scis and explored around, finding PV and the rest of the middle lump of planets. I terraformed both my end planets, and in doing so discovered that I had a tech lead. I decided to increase that lead, and did a really nice re-trick with 20,20 that brought all my planets to full capability and gave me 3 builders out front. We then started facing off with big fleets, and I was happy to dance. With same size fleets, but me with an econ lead, I knew I was buildering tech. Also, I had cloakers moving into position at his non-builder 18,19 and 17,19. I nuked both with BR1 cloaks, and nailed 17,20 as a bonus. I then traded my BR4 fleet with his and rebuilt at BR5. He wasn't there yet, and with a 10-7 econ lead I made short work of his builder at 18,20. He conceded, and I sci'd over for the nuke. A very enjoyable game against a fun opponent.
