(ponderings)

I think that maybe a lot of summer camps are just experiments in mind control. I loved camp
when I was a kid and I loved working at one for the past two years. But evidence has been
stacked. Kids worship counselors. Anything you tell them they'll accept as law. The food is
controlled. They're taught specific songs and skills. There are many, many rules. Sleeping
habits are strictly enforced. Schedules are firm. And after a week at camp, there is a LOT of
infromation accumulated about the campers -- behavioural patterns, medications, personal
philosophies, etc. We could trace the kids at my camp for life. We have registration forms with
all their personal information on it. Alternatively, the directors have quite a lot of information
about ME. They trained me. They paid me. Through it all, they must have observed me.
