HOUSE RULES

TOP-MOST RULE:
The judge rules all, and he shall not be questioned in any of his decisions.


MYSTIC HEALTH:

This is used for magic-users in the Marvel Universe. The way it works is you add up the rank numbers for Mental Health (R+I+P)
and add it to your character’s magic rank. Then multiply the total by 2.
[ex: rm(30) magic + Mental Health of 6+6+6=18. Total Mystic Health would be (30+18) X 2= 96]
This rule reflects your characters ability to cast magic and for how long he can cast for,
because sooner or later he is going to get tired. Now, each time you cast a spell, you subtract
the SPELL’s rank number from your mystic health. Also, if you cast a spell for more than one round,
such as a force field, subtract the rank number each round. Once your mystic health reaches zero, you cannot cast any more spells.,
The exception to this rule is that for each spell you cast after you are at zero
Mystic Health, you lose one endurance rank. Mystic health is regained the same as normal healing of damage but takes twice as long.
Endurance ranks are regained the same way. However, you must first get back your health,
then your endurance ranks, THEN finally you may regain your mystic health. This is always regained last.

GUN STRENGTH:

For this rule, take your gun's damage rank and make a strength FEAT against it.
(The impossible and automatic FEAT rules are used here. ) If the FEAT fails you must
make an endurance FEAT to aviod being stunned. If the gun's damage is more than 3 ranks
above your strength, then you must also check for a slam result.

NOISE:

Take your gun's damage again, and multiply by 2. This will give you the gun's noise level
when it is fired. The multiplication does NOT raise your weapon's damage however.
This rule makes assassinations and the like more realistic and harder to accomplish undetected.
The silencer rule also benfits from this rule.
Example: ( Gun=Good (10) damage X 2, is now Excellent (20) noise level. )

SILENCER:

Silencers have their own level and rank number. Compare it to the gun's noise level (see above rule).
Now, subtract the silencer's rank number from the gun's noise level. The remaining number is how loud the
gun is with the silencer on.
Example: - Gun = Good (10) noise. Silencer = Ty(6). 10-6=4. Your gun's noise level is now Poor (4). -

Judging Martial Arts Talents ----Rule sent in by Pierre Bousquet--

Martial Arts in the MSH Game are a little hazy on how to judge, so here is a suggested format for judging
Judo (Martial Arts A). ---
--Characters with the Judo talent may add a +1CS to their strength for purposes of defensive throws and slams.
Make a FEAT against the opponents Strength using the basic rules for FEAT's and colors. However, adjust your
Strength up one rank because you have Judo. This reflects your defensive advantage.
If your character also possesses the power Martial Arts Supreme in the Judo category, use his power rank, +1CS
instead of Strength.
