| MacDesigns is a new web site devoted to producing and displaying concept computer designs based upon the top line of computers from Apple Computer. Our mission is to show the computer community what kind of innovation is truly possible and what could be brought about if computing companies put their wallets to it. Most of our designs where made to be as practical as possible, while retaining an attractive exterior form factor. Including form factor and hard ware concepts, some of the designs have unique software and OS modification ideas. We also provide information about Apple Computers recent and most innovative computers, like specifications and history. The MacDesigns web site is produced purely on Macintosh computers via several programs such as Adobe Photoshop, BBEdit and and GIFBuilder. MacDesigns was created on March 16, 1999 and is continually updated to this day. So far, the MacDesigns has had one major site overhaul redesign, when a new interface was introduced and the current information was updated, boosting hits and return visits dramatically.
