Gallon of Easy French Dressing

     

    6 c. sugar
     6 c. vegetable oil
    3 c. vinegar
    3 c. ketchup
     2 c. lemon juice
    1 large onion, finely chopped or grated 
     2 Tbsp. celery seed
    1 1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
    1 1/2 Tbsp. salt

                 Grate the onion, or whiz in a food processor. Combine all ingredients, store in big glass bottles.
    Chill until needed.  Shake or stir with a whisk before serving.  Great with a tossed salad.
