Hi everyone...welcome to my first Web Home! I've only really been using the internet about a year, and very tentatively I've taken the step to create my own page. Like everything I've been learning, it is a bit of a learning curve for me, so try not to laugh too hard at my feable attempts here. Hopefully in a few months if I keep at this,you will want to keep coming here to see what comes up!
One of Life's Gifts . . .
It is said that the people we meet in our lives are there for a reason. Fate has an odd way of throwing us together; and although we might not understand why certain people have crossed our paths, we can be grateful they are. Our world today can be one that is less than friendly; and our problems are so big that we can become overwhelmed and cynical.
But miRC is a world within a world that brings people together, whether it is to seek advise on a concern we may have, or to find some people to share ideas with. What a delight it has been for me this past year to have such fun and laughter, company to talk to and to see just how supportive and caring people really can be.
The people I have met on miRC have become very important to me. Without them, there would be a great void in my life. It doesnt matter that I have not met many in person, the are still my treasured friends I will have with me for a long time. This is where I come to feel part of something, to have fun with great people and to feel I count.

I'm known on IRC as Fawney, but my real name is Audrey.I live in Vancouver, B.C. and like to take advantage of West Coast living. It is pretty hard to not like living in such a culturally, and geographically diverse city. The food, the events and mountains and beaches are the very things that keep me enjoying where I live.
I have two children, er, pardon me, young adults that live with me. I fight over the computer with Trevor, who is almost 20. His sister, Ashleigh, almost 17, is taking courses as part of her school to be a hairdresser. I'm afraid to sit still too long - she always looks like she is wanting to practice on my hair.
