    Mary Hogg/d/u/11/Scholar/E. Lothian illegible
James Hogg/s/u/9/Scholar/E. Lothian Hale & Looke
(Note: this entry contains a couple of weird symbols.  There's a small cross
or dagger, raised slightly above the line,
precedeing the illegible entry in George's occupation.  There's another
symbol that appears in two places.  It
constists of six dots arranged in an equilateral triangle with one dot on
the top, two dots on a middle line, and three
dots along the bottom.  This appears above the W in Wool in Robert's
occupation,  and just after the 15  in George's
age, raised slightly above the line-like where you might put an asterisk.
The symbols don't look like stray marks,
but I have no clue what they mean.)
