Draftmasters provides complete Certified Residential Air Leakage Control Work. Our Air Control Work is based upon the scientific principles of "The House As A System" concept. Utilizing the most up to date test equipment available today, Draftmasters provides a visible means to detect air leakage. This visible and measurable detection is known as the Blower Door Test. The Blower Door Test provides the detection necessary to eliminate deficiencies in the building envelope.
The Building Code requires half a household air change per hour. This half an air change per hour is factored into all retrofit activity. By minimizing building heat loss, noise and dust infiltration, Draftmasters maximizes the occupant's health, safety and comfort.
Draftmasters utilizes the resources of the "Professional Skills Development Institute" {PSDI}, in addition to consulting the specialized expertise of the "National Energy Conservation Association" {NECA}. This consultation with the PSDI and NECA ensures that Draftmasters maintains standards and qualifications exceeding the Industry Standards. This certification is also recognized by the Canadian Government.
