I don't mind if you stay longer
you have not been any trouble
I don't want you to go home yet
can you just stay ten more minutes?
You are my best friend
I don't know how I'd live...
How I love you every square inch
love your brown eyes, your forgiveness...
Ode to a Friend
~by Jann Arden
Music... what an amazing thing it is. Sometimes I think life would be so empty without music. It lifts me up when I'm feeling down, or it adds another beat to my already happy mood...its always there when I need it.... it comes in all shapes... happy, sad, funky, rap.
I set out looking for a suitable wallpaper for this page,
for music is something close to my heart and I wanted a wallpaper just right for its part.
I came upon a site, where this paper caught my sight.
I read the quote engraved in its might, and my face lit up like a light.
It said what I wanted to say...
Yes! "Life without Music would be a mistake!" :o)
I believe music is a very personal thing. Everyone has their own way of enjoying it. I enjoy different kinds of music - Alternative, Rock, Country, Hindi, and Punjabi music. I've enjoyed Sarah McLachlan's songs the most.
Hindi music has its own little niche in my world. Not all of it is always great, but some of it is
unbelievably well done. Again, I find the lyrics most fascinating.
Some of the best CD's I own are:
Fumbling Towards Ecstasy - Sarah McLachlan
Surfacing - Sarah McLachlan
Pieces of You - Jewel
The Joshua Tree - U2
MCMXC - Enigma
Happy? - Jann Arden
18 Til I Die - Brian Adams
The Best of UB40
Out of Time - R.E.M
And Many More...
