Paladyr's Lost Love
Character's include: Paladyr*, Andria*
Paladyr met Andria inside a burned out old cottage. He warned her that it was not safe and the two became trapped inside. They made it out and then Paladyr brought her to the lair. He kept her there and was amused to find that she wasn't frightened. The two talked often and she turned out to have a good sense of humor. She even ended up playing practical jokes on other guards at the lair. The two fell in love and she became his mate. His greatest joy was when she announced to him that they were going to have kittens. Then, as Andria had gone off to do something, she ended up being hit by a car. One of the guards had noticed this and followed the human who had taken her to the vet. The vet was able to save the kittens, but Andria died. The guard went back to Paladyr and told him that Andria and the kittens all died, but he had secretly noted what happened to the kittens. He did this because of the practcal jokes Andria had played
on him. Paladyr lost it and went into solitude to nurse his grief. Reason Given: It runs the gamult of emotions from fear, to love, to pain and anguish, to anger. It was well played out.

Imurai's Introduction to Troubador
Characters Include: Troubador, Gareth*, Imurai, Tabetha, Ally
Troubador had been frantic since Ally's capture to find her. Gareth comes forward with some "news", but Troub doesn't understand it. Especially since Gareth's been acting weird for months, and nothing he says makes any sense. To make it even MORE funnier are Imurai's reactions to the brothers talking. Imurai's Introduction to Troubador Reason Given: It's a riot! I think it's a lot like the old comedy routine "Who's on First". Please note, I'm not nominating the end of the thread where it turns somber. Just the funny part.

For the Catagory of Most Romantic the winner is.... A TIE
Carbon and Shadow
Characters Include: Carbon*, Shadow, Kyoto, Mirage, Sillabub, Amilee, a few others made apperances as well whom I am afraid I can't remember
It all began with teasing their siblings and has lead now to becoming life mates. Carbon and Shadows romance stretched far across time. Even longer if you consider Shadow has a past life and hit a few bumps along the way but in the end love triumphed over all. I wish not to nominate just their first kiss, or their dance at the ball, or even their consimation of love finally but I wish to nominate all of it. From their first kiss all the way to where they stand now. Begining one February morning Shadow and Carbon sat little realising that that day would change their lives forever. It was when they first kissed and here is the threads. Reason Given: Because I am in it! j/k Because I feel this was about as romantic as you could get without making it sickeningly sweet. It had all the pitfalls necessary without making it an extreme case of 'give it up'. The beginning of being puppy love but thanks to one having a past life and one being more intelligent than most his age causes them to find a more passionate and more meaningful love at quite a young age. Shadow's entering heat threw them against a wall as in Shadow's mind she wanted to do it, and though Carbon did as well he faced her being angry with him to hold fast and make sure it was true love that she had for him and not just the heat. As time progressed and they became closer afterward the ball allowed them another stepping stone and in the end everything turned happily ever after and they are mates after a full year of abstaining.

Brigid's Goodbye
Characters Include: Brigid*, Troubador
Background: Growing up, it was assumed Troubador would mate with Terossa to fulfill the prophecy. However, he was attracted to Brigid. She kept trying to send him back to Terossa. Troubador and Brigid finally begin to admit their feeling for each other and kissed once - right before her mother was brainwashed. Brigid left to be with her mother; Troubador waited for her return to no avail. He then mated with Alarielle, declaring love and having kittens. Brigid came back during the Ball of 2000, to wish him well in his new life as he
wished her well in hers. Some romantic tension, but they downplayed it. Then in May, Brigid writes a farewell note to Troubador Reason Given: A truly wonderful storyline of love lost, and saying goodbye.

Kitten Mischief
Characters Include: Shetan*, Reubus, Kayleigh, Kyoto, Carbon, Tabetha, Ally, Mirage, Troubador
Shetan had convinced Reubus to bring a kitten to see him. When Reubus brought Kayleigh, Shetan tried to use her as a hostage to escape! Kyoto and Carbon went running to get Mirage to help their sister. Tabetha snuck in and grabbed the key to help. Ally, Mirage, Troubador all tried to fight. In the end, Shetan didn't manage to escape. Thread here of "Kitten Mischief" Reason Given: It was exciting, thrilling, confusing, and no one knew if the jailbreak was going to work or not! Plus, quite a lot of characters were involved.

Demeter's Death
Demeter had been catnapped by her own son. Alonzo had been captured as well. Reubus made it look like Alonzo had witnessed Demeter's death when in fact she was alive. He then turned her over to Macavity where no one will look for her since they all think she is dead. Characters Include: Demeter, Reubus*, Liora, Alonzo Reason Given: It was scary to RP as well as to read.

For the Catagory of Most Original the winner is....
Reborn
Characters Include: Brigid*, Caschel Coolaigh, Micah, Noel, Troubador, Diarmat, Iona
Once Brigid died, Troubador went to Eire for the funeral along with her apprentice and close friends. However, Diarmat and Iona's kitten was having problems and they called for help. When Troubador and Caschel showed up, the spirit of the kitten was having problems getting into the body. They helped, before Troubador passed out and had a dream. In the dream, the "flame [Brigid] and the rose [new kitten] are one." Reason Given: It was an interesting storyline, something that hadn't been thought of before.

For the Catagory of Most Impact the winner is....
Ally's Capture
Characters Include: Ally, Imurai, Semura, Daien, Shetan, McLean, Jump
At the point of the jailbreak where Imurai and Semura tried to break Daien out, only to have him stay but Shetan was turned loose, Ally was captured. She continued to be "captured" for the rest of the year, for after Imurai was going to give her up through Daien, McLean tried to grab her, and Jump ended up grabbing her to save her. THAT was a twist! Reason Given: From the start of her capture, this storyline has influenced a lot of the other storylines: Imurai trying to talk Ally into thinking he's a "Nice cat"; Troubador [with Zethar] and Nick-Ko-Las out looking for her; McLean has a chance to fight her and harm her more; and the relations of Daien with the Yard, plus Imurai's and Semura's relations.
