In November

The Iran hostage crisis begins. This crisis lasted 444 dyas. Iranian radicals
demand was that the United States send the former shah back to Iran so he could
stand trial. Then later in November Iranian leader Ruhollah Khomeini orders the
release of 13 female and black American hostages be released.

In December

In Cleveland, Ohio eleven fans are stampled to death pior to the start of the Who concert.
