This is one of my most favorite and meticulous pieces.
The beast itself is actually a style of Wyrm (limbless dragon) that has been cybernetically altered. This dragon is known to a certain roleplaying game (as noted on other pages of mine)as a Kadok Prime.
The cybernetic rings that allow the dragon to have limbs were a challenge to make realistic. If one looks closely, it can be noted that the dragon is holding a man in his left claw. This is there to represent the scale of the creature.
