>>>What if say you had a group of a level 40, 38, 38, 35, 33, and a 32? Does the exp given come from the level 40 (meaning the exp changes dependings on their level) or is it based on a level 36 person (Average level of group) or is the amount of exp given the same no matter what level the party is but that higher levels need more exp and thus their bar raises more slowly than the level 32? I mean how exactly does this work?

We choose not to release any formulae in regard to how experience is divided up. That is probably why you haven't seen explained "exactly". What I will say is that it is divided up in such a way that a group of friends who always play together will level at a similar rate.

>>>My druid could solo up to level 50. I could kill say 6 mobs in an hour, or as much as 30-50 in an hour in a group but my druid consistently got more exp in a shorter amount of time then in a group.

This can really only be done by kiting. The changes to kiting a few months ago should have cut this down a bit. Additionally I wouldn't be surprised if you see some additional changes in the future to put a check on druid powerleveling. They weren't meant to be a solo class.

>>>A group of 4 levels much slower than a group of 2. Is this not supposed to be so or could there be a glitch? If not then how could this be based on your example you gave?

A group will only level faster if the group takes things harder or faster than they could with one less member. If you aren't doing that, then you'll level slower, but you'll still have less downtime.

>>>Why exactly were hell levels placed in the game? When I first hit the hell level (I was second on my server to do so) I thought it a bug and reported it. GM Solist said he couldnt understand the hell level and said he'd look into it as well as several senior guides but after a while it was considered a game feature. Why though?

It's the way the experience curves work. Unfortunatly, going in and fixing it at this point isn't an option. Anyone who had gone through a "hell level" would instantly get another level or two. Additionally, people who had already fought there way through several of them would be cheated out of the work they did.

There is one upside to them. It helps groups stay together.
