This is a really good album.. If you like any R & B and just want to broaden your music a bit.. Grab this one.. The whole album has a great groove to it.. And with songs like Doo Wop (That Thing), this artist is going places... Each song ends with some classroom discussion on the next song.. I thought this was neat, and pretty funny at parts...
Yes, this is the one with "Closing Time" and I'm sure your sick of it too..
but the album is great... It's kinda like the Blind Melon Phenomenon.. The
song that gets played the most, "No, Rain", gets overplayed, so no one takes
the time to hear the really good stuff on the album.. Get this one.. I'll
come up with a better rating system later.. but for now.. this gets a 7 on a
scale of 10..
This is a hard one for me.. I love the music, but I'm disappointed that the
album is most of the stuff that is on the ep I bought at one of their shows.
So, my recomendation is, If you have any of their previos stuff.. you might
want to wait to buy it used.. but if you don't have one of their ep's GET IT!
so to rankings.... if you have eps 3/10 if you don't 8/10
I love Live music, and I love Dave Matthews.. So this combo
for me, is incredible.. I had it on tape for awhile, and
listened to it not stop for about 2 months in my car... And
I get tired of music pretty fast, so that should tell you
something about this album.. GET IT 10/10
