Spring
Our winters are long and dark and it is so good when
the days start getting longer, the trees bud out, birds,
ducks and geese come in and the grass starts turning green.
My sister wrote me this poem. Thanks Becky!
This is spring.
I am dedicating this page to all of my friends that I have met online.
You all know who you are!
SPRING
Today I want to share with you Mother Nature as she wakens.
You won't believe what we will see it's all there for our takin'.
First we'll look up in the sky and feel her warmth aglow.
Then she'll gently whisper to us a breeze that we all know.
Slowly she will come to us with hints of what's to come.
We need to know for sure that old man winter now is done.
We'll feel her strength with kite's in hand.
Days of spring how fun, how grand.
