Norna's Eldest Childe

Norna's sheet

Some time ago, roughly 100 years ago, the only child of a German Baron was born. Raised in the luxury of wealth and society. Her father, Thorn VanCanis gave his daughter everything. Seeing that she saw the world, knew her family line, her responsiblites of a Baroness, hoping one day for her to share her wealth and family fame with a man who could live up to this Baron's name.
Norna VanCanis, was a rebellious child. Though she loved her father dearly, she loathed the fact that his station took so much time from her. One would think with all the social balls, banquets, and affairs she was part of, she wouldnt have time for anything as petty... as longing for something more.
At the age of 18, Norna was to inherit her fathers estates, ready to be married, and pursued by many a suitor, prepared to reep the benefits of her Fathers wealth. An Idea she loathed. But it was not one of her suitors that stole her from her fathers side. It was indeed another Baron. One that had little interest in the child of royal blood. He pursued the young women, who was well schooled. She thrived in her studies. Math and Science were easily interuperted by this girl. And this Baron, a warlord, wished Norna at his side, for different reasons then breeding. It didnt take much time for him to convince her to leave her life as a baroness behind.
She traveled with this Baron, one by the name of Vadim Baalphegor for 3 years. He showed her all of Europe, his land, his wealth, his pride. And one fateful night, shortly after her 21st birthday... Norna witnessed her last sunrise, and forever relished the comfort of night.

Becoming the youngest and last childe of the Overlord fiend, Vadim Baalphegor; was nothing as Norna presumed it would be. She was unable to immediately relish the lifestyle of her new found family and clan. Instead, she was tested immediately. Forced to Europe, taught to disguise her true blood. Poseing as a Toreador in the center of one of this clans largest population, Paris. As an infiltrator, Norna rose in the ranks of the clan. Trained for the high society, a dancer as her art, she was accepted. She through herself into the deprevities of the Camarilla, viewing many of the darker side of the Toreador clan, often times finding new sect mates for her sire if she came across cainites as deranged and perverse as she.... And for close to 50 years, she remained in deep cover, hardly seeing her sire in that time, at risk of being discovered and killed. When Vadim did come back for her, to claim her once again back into his fold. She was shunned. She was often accused of being as weak as the Camarilla dogs she hid among for so many years. And although quiet talented with her Craft, she was forced to prove herself to her true Sect.
Vadim trained her immediately as a priest. Sensing the ablity in Norna, she was taught the Ritus and Code of the sect. Working under her packs own priest, she soon was performing ritus on her own.. and excelled in her teachings. Hungry for more in the sect, and hungry to prove her loyalty... she often fought in the most unrealistic odds, traveling the world, aiding her sect whereever she could. Eventually catching the attention of a Cardinal, and was made his Templar...

"I have been standing out side this office for what seems like years. I sometimes wonder what made me agree to become a Paladin, especially a Paladin for His Eminence Lord Dread. For the most part I just sit in his office and listen to him tell me stories of when he was still cannon fodder in this Great Sect. But he is amusing. And he seem's to accept my Path. Not many can understand why a Dragon would be a follower of Cathari. But that is what I am. My Sire tell's me that is what I was like before my embrace. I can hardly remember being human, let alone what I did when I was human.

But I can remember everything I have done since I entered this sect. I remember my creation rites.. I can still see the smile my sire had as he brought that shovel down on my head. Ear to ear is what they say I guess. In his case it was true. Rows of razor sharp fangs, that inhuman glare. I dug myself out of the wet clay mud just to have that shovel knock me back onto the ground. Ah well, I made him proud anyway. Night after night, we participated in blood baths and hunts and Sabbat games. It was great. I killed so many mortal's, I easily lost count. Made it even easier to loose all sense of Humanity. They are food now. No longer anything but cattle. That's good.

Time to move on though. I have served the Cardinal for too long. My childer have moved on. All three of them. My Sire, he is insane. No longer even capible of real converstation without going off on one of his delusions that I am there to steal his power and send him to final death. Maybe I will though. Next time I go.. the man is too old and feeble.. he no longer deserves that power.

But for now. I look upon Necropolis. Hunter has offered me a place in the pack Blood strike. Finally I am able to be what I was taught to be. A priest, a teacher, not an enforcer. The Cardinal is releasing me of my duty tonight. My last night under him. He is a good Cardinal. I will miss his company. My ghouls have already send my belongings to my new Haven. And tonight, they escort me to my new Town. I am sure I will make a name for myself and my noble Clan there."

And in Necropolis, she again found herself clawing her way up the ranks. Becoming a Priest once more upon her arrival, she founded and created one of the more flurished packs in Kansas City, the Blood Strike. Leaving that pack on its own, to join with two of her Dragon Brothers to form a Tzimisce exclusive pack, Res Divina Nigrum. Holding almost every postion one in the sect can; Priest, High Priest, Bishop and even Archbishop... She fights hard in the sect, even as it fights amongst itsself. Her loyalties deep and almost fanatical in nature, she wakes each night, ready to serve and protect the sect with her life, serving currently as the Bishop of War...
