Blue Heelers is set in the fictional town of Mt Thomas. Where Mt Thomas is situated is a bit hard to determine. There are often references to Daylesford beng close to MT Thomas, which is about an hours drive outside of Melbourne, but then there are also references to it being near the boarder. The population is meant to be about 10,000, with the nearest town to Mt Thomas being St Davids.
