In 1966 a Vancouver band known as The Molesters was asked to play on the same bill with the Grateful Dead.
Looking for a new name for the group band member Anton Kolstee suggested the United Empire Loyalists.
Band Members
Rick Enns, lead vocal, bass
Anton Kolstee, lead guitar, background vocals
Jeff Ridley, rhythm guitar, background vocals
Richard Cruickshank, drums
Glen Hendrickson, drums
During the social revolution of the 1960's the United Empire Loyalists perceived themselves as part of the underground. Putting out a record was not a priority for the group as the establishment controlled the industry.
This CD is a collection of studio recordings and tapes of live gigs and television performances.
