MediaX (OTC Bulletin Board: MXMX - news) announced today that it will join with Kmart Corporation (NYSE: KM - news) and Handleman to offer an exclusive music download for the pop group EYC, currently on tour with The Backstreet Boys. The EYC single offered for download, ``Another Crazy Night'' is not currently available on the group's North American debut album ``I Feel It''. This exclusive download is available from November 21st until February 21st, 2000. Beginning on November 21st, visitors will be able to access the download at www.eyclive.com/anothercrazynight.html page on the official EYC web site, which is part of the network of MediaX-designed and hosted web sites. The first 100 visitors to register for the download will receive a variety of prizes: posters, tee shirts and autographed CD's from EYC.
EYC songwriters, dancers and performers Damon Butler, David Loeffler and Trey Parker are exciting the music scene with a brand of driven hip-pop that gives new meaning to the word universal. The exclusive single will be available for the duration of the promotional download. Kmart has launched an intensive advertising campaign for this, its first on-line venture. In each of their 2160 stores, cards have been inserted into EYC's album ``I Feel It'' and ``Cool Traxx'' detailing the download. Handleman representative Nikki Rogers says, ``This is a good opportunity to promote a newly emerging teen pop band with the KMART exclusive compilation - ''COOL TRAXX``. This CD has all the major teen pop bands including EYC with their debut single ''I Feel It`` and it is only available at Kmart retail outlets and their online music store: www.musicfavorites.com.
