Miss Canada Int'l World 1997
Keri-Lynn Power

When the original, MCI'97 wasn't able to attend the Miss World pageant, the MCI org had to find a quick replacement. Miss NFLD and Labrador'97, Keri-Lynn Power, has chosen to be "Miss Canada International World 1997" and represent us at the Miss World pageant. There is a bit of a story behind Emily Ryan, Brooke Ross, and Keri-Lynn Power and I have pictures so here we go!

Keri-Lynn was originally Miss NewfoundLand and Labrador and went to MCI but didn't place in the top three. Here is her before she became Miss Canada International World!

Here is the original Miss Canada Int'l 1997, Emily Ryan, pretty, isn't she?

Here are the top three in MCI, 1997!

Here are some of the MCI 1997 delegates after the pageant in their black evening gowns by Algo.

Eventually Emily Ryan lost the MCI crown and Brooke Ross, the second runner-up became Miss Canada Int'l 1997.

Now I'll return to talking about Keri-Lynn once again!

Keri-Lynn wore this gown to the 1997 Miss World pageant. It was from a sponcer and has over 200 sequins sewn onto it. I wonder how she did?

I haven't yet gotten a tape of Miss World 1997 so my review is still uncomplete! Hopefully I can get one soon, so that I can review the pageant and Keri-Lynn's performance!
