Love All Over Again Chapters 15-22
I saw a figure coming into the restaurant and realized it was Nick with his older sister. I remembered he had told me he was visiting her this summer.
“Jules! Hey!! What are you doing here?” Nick said as he passed our table.
“Nick…hi…” I said in an awkward voice as Michael looked very confused.
“Who’s this sweety?” Michael said
Nick looked surprised and said “Sweety hey? Hmmm…I am guessing this is your new significant other?”
“Yup! This is my Michael!” I said.
Michael wrapped his arms around me protectively and said “nice to meet you Nick, I have heard a bit about you…” He stuck out his hand for Nick to shake.
Nick leaned down and said, “you are a very lucky guy Michael…”
“I know! The luckiest in the world…” Michael replied as he gave me a kiss on the cheek.
Nick walked away and Michael said, “So that is the famous Nick hey?”
“Yup! That’s him!” I said nervously.
“Seems like a nice guy Jules. Man, you make GOOD choices for boyfriends! Aahhemmm…” Michael said referring to himself.
“Yes I must say I have very good taste in guys!” I said as I gave Michael a little kiss.
Our food came and we ate with little remarks in between. We got into a car and got driven to the hotel…
4 MONTHS LATER…
“Well here we are! The last date on the tour until you go home Jules…” Michael said
“It went by so fast and other then the few jealous fans, it was very fun!” I replied.
“You have to go home tonight Jules! Whatever am I going to do without you? I live in New York and you are all the way in Winnipeg!” Michael said in a sad voice.
“Well, we can always use the phone and I will write and email you every hour of every day and…I could come visit you and you could come visit me and…” I tried to say without crying.
“Shhh, it’s okay Jules it’s okay… we will have a romantic dinner tonight and then we will say goodbye…FOR NOW…I have something important to talk to you about…” Michael said in a soothing voice.
“Okay…” I said as I hugged Michael tight never wanting to let go…
The night came and Lizzy was helping me get ready for my big last date with Michael for a while.
“I don’t want to say goodbye Lizzy! He said he has something really important to ask me. I wonder what it could be?!” I said.
“Umm…let me think…ever think of MARRIAGE?!?” Lizzy said.
“Hahahaha!! Whatever! I am only 17 and I don’t think Michael would think of asking me that! Would he??” I replied.
“Maybe…” Lizzy said.
We drove to the restaurant and I was very nervous. Michael looked over at me and said “is everything okay? You have looked like you have seen a ghost all night so far!”
“Oh no…I am fine.” I said lying.
“Well, I said I had something really important to talk to you about and…here it goes…I know I have only known you for a few months and you think I can’t love you in that amount of time, but I do and I don't want to say goodbye and I was wondering...Jules will you marry me?” Michael asked with a pleading look in his eyes…
“I don’t know what to say Michael…” is all I said as I sat there in shock.
Michael pulled a little red box out of his pockets and opened it displaying a giant diamond ring! “Michael…I am very young and I have my family and friends and…” I said uncertain of his reaction.
“Oh I know! We could wait a couple of years and you could live with me for a while and go home WHENEVER you wanted!” he replied.
I said “Michael, I love you and…YES I will marry you!”
“Oh Jules!” Michael said with a big kiss as he places the ring on my finger.
“Oh, my mother is going to think I am nuts and LIZZY! What will she think? Oh who cares! I love you more then the night and day Michael Fredo and you are my man!” I said.
“Well, I love you Julia Montgomery…FREDO!” Michael said with a smile.
I replied “When we first started going out, I discussed with Lizzy how nice my name sounds with your last name and now it is actually real!”
We ate and went back to the hotel and I went straight to Lizzy’s room.
“Lizzy! You were right!!!!!!” I screamed.
“What? He asked you to marry him?!” Lizzy replied. “What did you say?? Did you hurt his feelings?”
“How could I hurt his feelings when I said YES?!?” I said with a huge smile.
“YOU DID WHAT?!!?” Lizzy said in a frightened voice. “Your mother is going to kill you! How could you say yes??”
I said “Elizabeth Rembel!! I am almost 18 years old and you are starting to sound like you own me!! My mother loved Michael the second I introduced them and if you are not going to support me in marrying the guy who has been the guy of my dreams for almost 2 years, then I will deal with that!”
“No, Jules you just shocked me! Of course I will support you! You have been my best friend forever and I know how much you love him!” Lizzy said giving me a hug.
“Thank you! Now is the hard part…calling my mom!” I said in a worried tone.
“Hi mom…it’s Jules…” I said.
“Julia!! I am so happy you are coming home tonight! We have soo much to talk about!” Mom said.
“Yeah mom…me too!” I said in a fake excited voice.
Mom said “Julia, is something wrong?”
“Well, Michael kinda…” I said
“Oh Michael! How is the sweetheart?!” Mom said
I said “Oh he is great! That is kinda what I have to talk to you about. Michael…askedmetomarryhim!” I finished the last 5 words very quickly
“Excuse me? You said that way too fast! Michael what?” Mom replied
“Michael, asked me to marry him…” I said a bit slower.
Mom said in a shocked voice “What?? What did you say Julia? You know I will support anything you decide, you ARE almost 18!”
“I said yes mom! I am soo glad you aren’t mad at me! Oh I love him soo much! He said I can live with him for awhile and that I can come home whenever I want too!” I replied
“Oh I am very glad you met a sweety like Michael! You too seem soo happy! I know you have dreamed of the perfect man since you were a little girl Julia and now you have found him! Are you coming home tonight still or should I not wait up for you?” Mom said
“Well, I was thinking maybe I could stay in Michael’s apartment for a couple of weeks then I will come home and see you!” I replied.
“Okay that’s fine! You have enough clothes right? If you don’t, I can send some!” Mom said
“No I have enough! Michael took me shopping today!” I said with a big smile.
“Well okay honey. Tell Michael I said hello and congrats! I will talk to you in a few days!” Mom said
“Okay! Will do! Love you mom! Bye!” I said as I hung up the phone.
I walked over to Michael’s room, walked in and pounced on him.
“My mom said hello and CONGRATULATIONS!!! She is happy for us!!” I yelled.
“Julia I am soo happy! You mom is the best” Michael replied with a big kiss as we just layed on the bed comfortably. He continued to kiss me as I said “And Lizzy is very happy for us too! Man we are all just soo happy! My mom said I can stay with you for a few weeks then go home and see her!”
“I am the happiest guy alive!” Michael said with a sigh
“And I am the happiest girl!” I replied
“Well, I guess we are the happiest couple alive then!” Michael said with a laugh.
I said “Hey! You wanna order a movie?”
“How about we drive back to my place and I will cook for you and then we can settle down and watch a movie!” Michael said.
“I know what you have on your mind by going back to YOUR place!” I said jokingly.
“Well, you know us guys!” Michael said laughing.
“I will just tell Lizzy that I am going to your place and she can either go home or stay here at the hotel I guess!” I said
“I am sure she could stay with Joe for a while!” Michael said and with that, I packed all of my things and we drove over to his place.
I looked around while he made noise in the kitchen. I heard a loud bang and yelled “Mikey? Are you okay in there?”
“Yeah I am okay Jules! I am almost done!” he replied.
I sat down on the big couch and flipped through the TV guide. Suddenly Michael said “Julia, you can come in now!”
I walked into the kitchen and saw a beautiful candle lit lobster dinner layed out on the table. In the center of the table was a big vase with dozens and dozens of white roses, this being my favorite flower.
“Oh Michael! It is beauti…” I said
“Jules! Don’t say anything yet!” Michael said interrupting me.
He walked over to the stereo and flipped on “Love All Over Again”
He grabbed my hand and we started to dance, while he sang along. The song ended and he said, “that was the first song I ever sang to you! Do you remember? At my concert?”
“I remember very well Michael,” I said as I just stood there holding him.
“We should get eating Jules. My “masterpiece” is getting cold!” Michael said with an adorable smile.
“Oh of course! Mr. Chef!” I said laughing.
We ate the delicious meal and when we were finished, we were both bursting.
“I have never eaten so much before Mike!” I exclaimed.
“Well, I hope you enjoyed it!” Michael said.
“I have never eaten that good of a meal before either! Besides my mom’s cooking of course!” I said
“Oh, of course! Mom’s could never top Michael’s!!” Michael said laughing.
“Well, how about that movie now?” I said Michael said, “Okay! Go into my room, pick a movie and I will be right in! I have to clean up a bit!”
“Okay!” I said as I walked out of the room
“I love you!” Michael yelled
“AND I LOVE YOU!” I yelled back I walked into his room and looked through the movies. I chose Armageddon, this being one of my favorite movies. I put it in and waited for him. I layed on the bed and the next thing I knew, I felt something soft against my face. I opened my eyes and saw Michael and a white rose right next to my face.
“Oh sorry! I must have dozed off Mikey!” I said
“Oh it’s alright. I was just watching you sleep.” Michael said, “You looked like an angel. This rose is for you my angel!”
“Thank you! I chose Armageddon to watch! Is that good?” I said getting up to turn the movie on.
“Of course! Don’t get up! I will turn it on!” Michael said leaning over and pressing play.
He layed on the bed and put his arms around me…
I awoke to sunlight and Michael singing “Who Said”. I looked up and saw I was in Michael’s bed with the covers over me.
“Michael! What happened last night?!” I said in a worried tone.
“You fell asleep during the movie so I let you have my bed and slept in the spare bedroom” Michael said
“OH! Okay!” I said getting out of bed.
“If you are thinking about getting up, stay right where you are!” Michael yelled.
Puzzled, I stayed where I was. A few minutes later, Michael walked in with a lovely egg, bacon and freshly squeezed orange juice breakfast in bed. Topped off, of course, with white roses on the side.
“Michael! You didn’t have to do that!” I said surprised!
“You know I would do anything for you my angel!” Michael said as he leaned down and gave me a kiss good morning.
“Oh! Morning breath! Don’t kiss me until I brush my teeth!” I said pulling away
“You are my fiancee now! I don’t care what you smell like!” Michael said as he gave me a little hug and kiss on the cheek.
I started to laugh and said “shouldn’t I eat before it get cold! You know how our dinner almost spoiled last night!”
“Of course my lady! Eat away!” Michael said
He was just standing there staring at me so I aid “Do I have something on my face or something?
“No! It is just that, I have never met anyone who looks good eating, sleeping doing NO MATTER WHAT!” Michael said
Blushing I said “Oh Michael, I…”
“Don’t say anything! You are beautiful and you know it!” Michael said.
We got dressed and drove over to a building where a convention was being held for Michael. We walked in and were suddenly surrounded by media. Michael grabbed my hand so I wouldn’t be swifted away in all of the craziness and politely said “Everyone! I will answer your questions inside!”
“Okay let’s get started then! Everyone settle down, settle down!” the announcer said.
I sat on the side of the stage just staring at Michael and wondering how he could handle this much pressure. He looked over at me and smiled. I smiled back and waved.
“Okay question number one. Hi my name is Carmen from MTV, U.S.A. and I was wondering, when do you expect to release your second album Michael?”
“Well, I was hoping to release it in a few months, probably the beginning of next year! Good question Carmen!” Michael said with one of his famous smiles.
“Question 2. Hi Michael. I am Juliette from Musique Plus is Quebec, Canada and my question is, how do you deal with all of this fame at your age, seeing as you are only 20?”
“Another great question! I am dealing quite well actually! With the help of my family and friends, they are very supportive of all decisions I make!”
“Hey Mike. Can I call you Mike? My name is Rick and I am from Much Music in Toronto, Canada. Everyone has been hearing an awful lot about “Julia”. Can you explain exactly who “Julia” is?”
I just started smiling as Michael glanced over at me.
“I had a feeling someone would bring this up! Julia is the love of my life and my future wife! Come on up here Jules!”
I slowly walked onto the stage smiling. Michael took my hand and said, “I know some fans may be upset, but she is my beautiful Jules and I would really appreciate it if everyone was nice!”
I just stood there smiling at the fact that I was actually marrying Michael Fredo!!
