Chapter 14- What Are You Doing Here?
“What do you want?” said Abs seeing as to it was Amber
“I wanted to see how you were.” She said
“We’ll leave you guys alone.” Said Teresa as her, and A.j. left but Andy just positioned herself in her bed and grabbed a bowl of popcorn that was on the table and began to eat it as Amber and Abs were talking.
‘Why do you care how I am?” he said
“Abs, you’re still my best friend, and just because we broke up doesn’t mean I don’t care about you.” She said
“Don’t believe one word she said Abs.” Said Andy They both looked at her
“Sorry, go ahead.” She said as she re positioned herself
“YOU cheated on me, and I made the worst mistake of my life.” He said
“What was that?” she asked
“I should have just remanded friends with you and not give up such a great girl I had, and am lucky to have again.” Said Abs
“I never made you give her up that was all you, you did what you did those days on your own.” She said
“If I wasn’t in this bed right now, I’d walk my self over there and beat the crap out of you.” Said Andy
“Whatever.” Said Amber
“I’d beat you worse then I did that other night.” Said Andy Abs just started laughing cause he remembered when Andy beaten up Amber!
“I came to apologize and try to remain best friends but I can see you don’t want that.” She said
“No I don’t.” he said
“Well, goodbye then Abs.” Said Amber as she walked out the room
Late that day Sean and Michelle came by to see everyone.
“I hate to sound rood, but we need showers and stuff, so would you mind if we just stayed at the house?’ said Jess
“No, I have to head back there anyway, so I can bring you guys there.” Said Michelle
“Hey call and let us know what happens O.K.” said Jess giving Teresa a hug goodbye and the same with everyone else. Michelle, Jess, Howie, Katie, and Kevin all said goodbye and got in the taxi. They all went back to the house.
“Who’s still here?” asked Abs
“Um… Me, Teresa, A.j., Nick, Brian, the managers, and Amber.” Said Nicole
“Why doesn’t Amber just leave?” said Abs
“Because she still cares,” said Teresa.
~ 2 days later ~
“Well, we have good news!” said the doctor
“What?” asked Nicole
“Courtney and Scott are doing fine, there asleep right now, but the nurse checked on them last night and they are doing just fine!’ said the doctor
“What about Shannon?’ said Abs
“She is in a comma.” Said the doctor
“Abs, Andy I just need you to sign these papers, and you can be on your way,” said the nurse Abs had a broken arm and few stitches in his head. Andy was lucky she only had a broken ankle. Andy and Abs both signed the papers, but Andy only left. Abs wanted to stay and make sure Shannon would be all right.
~ 10:00 ~
“Abs, I think you should get some sleep.” Said Teresa
“It’s all my fault.” Said Abs
“Don’t say that it’s no one’s fault.” Sid Teresa
“Yes it is, it’s my fault.” Said Abs crying “If I hadn’t of been so big shot and just let her have her way with the music none of this would have happened.” He said still crying
“Abs, you never let us girls have our way with the music, it was just like old times, nothing mad this time different then the others.” Said Teresa
“We weren’t in a hospital.” Said Abs
“True, but we are all going to be fine.” said Teresa
“Why didn’t I just let her listen to the music she wanted to?” said Abs
“Because you’re a guy, and lost if guys like things there way.” Said Teresa Do you hate me?’ asked Abs
“No.” said Teresa
“Do you think Shannon will hate me?” he asked
“I think she will love you just as much as she did all those years ago.” Said Teresa
‘Really.” He said
“Yes.” She said
Just then, the doctor walked in
“Is something wrong?” said Abs as him and Teresa stood up
“I’m just getting some coffee.” Said the doctor walking over to the machine and pouring himself a cop of coffee, then he left the room.
“I hate doctors along with hospitals!’ said Abs
‘I know you do.” Said Teresa
It was about 1:50 and everyone was asleep. Abs was in Shannon’s room hoping she would wake up soon.
“Shannon, if you can hear me I am sorry for everything I did to make you cry, or hurt. I love you and I need you to wake up for me o.k.” Abs said as he kissed her hand
“Abs, please let me help.” Said Amber standing behind him
“Why would you want to help me, what are you even doing here, she meant nothing to you and I obviously meant nothing to you either.” Abs said
“Abs, that’s not true, well maybe she didn’t but you meant a lot to me. I just was not ready for a steady relationship, and that is what you wanted and I could not commit to that. You’re still my best friend and I want to remain that way.” Said Amber
“I don’t know I mean…’ began Abs
“What are you afraid of?” she asked
“Getting used.” Said Abs
“Come on remember that promise we mad when we were little.” Said Amber Abs thought back to when they were little
~ Memory ~
“Ritch promise me when were older we will still be best friends!” said Amber
“Promise!” said Ritch when they did a pinky promise
~ Reality ~
“Ritch, Abs promise me we’ll still be best friends.” Said Amber holding out her pinky Abs put his pinky with hers and said “Promise.” They then gave a kiss on the cheek, and a hug!
“Are you guys back together?” said Shannon seeing them hugging
“Nope, just best friends again, and I’m all yours!’ he said giving Shannon a hug and kiss on the lips.
“Good!” she said
“Shannon.” Said Brian standing in the doorway
“I don’t want to see you.” She said
“Shannon sweetie, I think you should work things out with Brian, it might be good!” said Abs
‘What?” she said confused
“I mean you two need to talk and work things out.” Said Abs “I’ll give you a few minutes alone with each other.” He said
“Thank you.” she said
“Shannon are we still friends?” Brian asked
“Of course.” She said
“I’m happy that your finally fully happy!’ said Brian
“What about you?” said Shannon
“I’m very happy with Amber.” He said
“Thanks you Brian.” Shannon said
“Your welcome.” He said they gave each other a hug and a kiss
“Hey girl.” Said Teresa walking in
“Hey.” Said Shannon
“You two an talk the rest of us will be outside.” Said Brian leaving the room
“So what’s going on with you guys?” asked Teresa
“Abs and I are going back out, Brian and Amber are going out and were all happy.” Said Shannon
“That’s good to hear.” Said Teresa
“What about you?” asked Shannon
“Oh I’m good.” Said Teresa
“No, I mean with Scott, and A.j.,” said Shannon
“Oh, I have no clue what I am going to do.” Said Teresa
“You’ve been threw a lot with both of them.” Said Shannon
“Yeah and I think I know what I’m going to do but I am still not sure.” Said Teresa
“I think you are sure I just don’t think you want to hurt either one of them.” Said Shannon “Am I right?” she asked
“Yeah I guess you are.” Said Teresa
