Chapter 10- Feel the Heat
Shannon continued her walk when Terri caught up to her
“Hey Shannon.” Said Terri“Hello.” Shannon said“Guess what?” said Terri
“What?” said Shannon as they stopped walking and sat down on a bench
“Me and Ritch are getting married!” said Terri
“OMG! I am so happy for you!” said Shannon giving her a huge hug
“He asked me like a few days ago but we didn’t want to say anything!” said Terri
“Well, you guys make a cute couple! Why didn’t you want to say anything?” said Shannon“Well, with everyone kind of fighting with one another, and all the concerts, and I guess we still weren’t sure that, that is what we really wanted to do!” said Terri
“Well, I wouldn’t have worried about the fighting, and I am very happy for you!” said Shannon
“Thanks, Anyway I came to tell you that they cancelled the tour for about 2 weeks!” said Terri“What, Why?” asked Shannon
“Because there are signs of bad weather coming this way, and they don’t want to get stuck in it if we fly!” said Terri
“Well, that just sucks, what about the fans they will be devastated.” Said Shannon“Yeah I know the guys are bummed to but hey what can we do?” said Terri
“So what is everyone going to do now?” asked Shannon
“Well, I think Kevin and Katie are finally going to take a long vacation to the Bahamas!” said Terri
“Ooo la, la!’ giggled Shannon ‘What about everyone else?” she added
“Well, me and Ritch are going to work on the wedding, J and Andy well who knows what they do, you know they always do something crazy, Howie and Jess I think are going to go with Katie and Kevin.” Said Terri taking a breath
“What about Sean, Michelle, Abs, Amber, Scott, and Vany?” said Shannon
“I’m not sure what they are going to do,” said Terri
“Oh O.K.” said Shannon Just then, a cab came driving up, a girl swung the door opened and said,
“Where are they?”“Whom?” said Shannon as she realized it was Dawn
“Scott, and that Bitch Vany!” Dawn said
“Oh, they are in the ice cream parlor.” Said Terri Dawn stormed off in that direction, along with Terri and Shannon following her.
“She swung open the parlor door and everyone starred at her.
“DAWN!” said Scott as he stood up from his chair
“Oh look, the ho is back!” said Vany as Amber started to laugh
“Listen you little 2-cent whore, if you knew what was good for you, you would keep your big mouth shut.“I have dibs on Vany!” J whispered to Sean
“No, Dawn all the way!” Sean whispered back
“You want to take this outside?” Vany asked“Gladly!” said Dawn
“Now ladies, lets talk this over calmly.” said Scott
“Scott, what made you go to her?” said Dawn“I don’t know?” said Scott
“Well, how could you not know?” asked Dawn All Scott did was shrug, and by now, everyone was awaiting what was going to happen next.
‘Didn’t you know I loved you Scott, I cared, and wanted be with you, didn’t you know that?’ said Dawn looking like she was going to cry
“Well, maybe I am not ready for a relationship right now, and maybe I just don’t love you that way.” He said
“Why not, why couldn’t you love me, maybe if you tried instead of feeling sorry for yourself for a great girl you once had, then maybe you could move on with your life.’ Said Dawn
“He has a great girl and it’s me!” said Vany
“No its not, none of you could ever replace her, I don’t love either of you that way, and I don’t know if I ever could.”
“Scott baby, you don’t now what you are saying right now and I think you should go lie down…” but before Vany could finish, Scott said
“I know exactly what I am saying, and I don’t love you, I love TERESA!” Scott yelled
It was quiet for a few minutes, and Courtney just kept looking back and forth not having a clue of what was going on, so she just took her spoon and shoved some more ice cream in her mouth.
“So you were something with him, and you never told him?” said A.J.
“I wanted to but I just couldn’t, and I don’t know why.’ Said Teresa A.J. just got up and ran out the room.
“A.J. wait!” said Teresa as she ran after him
“Umm, I think we better start to go and pack.” Said Kevin as him and Katie got up and walked out“That’s a good idea!” said Howie as him and Jess left
“Well see you back on the bus Scott.” Said Sean as him and Michelle walked out the room“Are you coming?” asked J to Andy“In a minute.” She said
J, Ritch, and Terri left.Andy sat down next to Scott and out an arm around him.
“What have I done Andy?” Scott asked
“We’ll figure out how to fix everything ok.” She said as Scott started crying on her shoulderAbs, Amber, Shannon, and Brian just walked out.
“I’m gonna go start packing ok.” Said Amber“Yeah whatever.” Said Abs
“Hey Shannon, can I talk to you for a minute?” Abs asked
“Go ahead, I’ll meet you back at the buses ok.” She said as she gave Brian a kiss, “What is it Abs?” he asked
“Well, I was just wondering if there was still a chance for you and me to you know still be together?” he said looking at his feet
“How can you ask me something like that Abs, it’s been 5 years and you ask me now.” Shannon said
“Yeah I guess it’s bad timing with your new relationship and all, and I know it’s been 5 years, but 5 years I have been without you and not enjoying it. You the one for me not Amber, you have always been the one. When I wake up, I do not see you beautiful face there, when I cry your not there to comfort me, when I laugh your not there laughing with me. I am nothing with out you Shannon and I needed you to know that. So please I am not asking you as a member a five, or as a guy, and not as Abs, but as Richard will you please take me back?” he said
Shannon was in tears by now and couldn’t think of words to say, “Abs, I don’t know you hurt me a lot and how do I know it won’t happen again?” “I’m sorry but I can’t take that chance?” she finished as she walked away crying. Abs ran off in the other direction upset.
~ Teresa and A.J. ~
“A.J.” said Teresa
“Why, why didn’t you just tell me you went out with him?” he said
“I didn’t think it was important that I didn’t tell you, I don’t know why?” Teresa said
“So what kind of relationship did you guys have?” he asked
“Well, a pretty good one!” said Teresa as she had a flash back, remembering when they were heading home from the prom
“Thank you Scott, I had a wonderful time!” said Teresa
“Me to!” said Scott as he leaned in and kissed her. He quickly pulled away wondering if he wasn’t suppose to do that. Then Teresa gave a smile, and they kissed one more time!“Bye!” said Teresa smiling as she ran in the house Scott got back in the limo and it took him home!
“So do you still love him?” asked A.J.
Teresa snapped out of her dream and thought about that question for a while, did she still love him?
