Chapter 3

"What are they?", Maya asked as the elevator approached and they walked in.

"Lobby", Amira said to the bellhopper.

"Could we all just talk in the lobby?", asked Nancy who liked to keep their conversation private.

"Yeah", said J, Heidi and Scott at the same time.

"Whoa-coincidence!!!", said Scott.

They all got out of the elevator and went into the lobby. They all took seats across from eachother on the black, leathered, cushioned chairs, available in the lobby.

"Abs, you had some ideas", said Hayley, after everyone took a seat.

"Well-yeah, I was thinking that we could all go clubb'n or something", suggested Abs.

"That's not exactly what I had in mind-I'd like to get to know the girls a bit before we go to a club", said Sean.

"We'd REALLY get to know them if we go into a club", said J grinning.

"I didn't mean it that way-" Sean started

"Ya, I know, I know, man i was foll'n around wit your mind", said J, who had interuped Sean

"Yeah-I knew that!!!", said Sean defensly

"Sure, you do!!!", said Scott jokingly and sacastically.

"Sean, where exactly DO you want to go?", asked Amira

"How about this?", Sean asked producing a peice f paper from his pocket.

"A hot Air balloon park?", asked Heidi, who was staring at the paper.

"Yeah, it'll be fun- c'mon, let's giver it a try", urged Maya.

Ritchie snatched the paper from Sean's hands. After some time of observing the information in the catalog/paper he said" hey, this is cool!, it's got a mini mall, restaunt and hot air balloon park all in 1.".This got the other girls' attention, their eyes lit up, and all agreed to go.

"Alright, i'll go", J, said accepting his defeat. Abs gave in soon after. Everyone but Maya stood up to go.

"Wait a sec, i don't even have the directions, how are we supposed to get there?, Ritchie may i please see the paper?, Maya asked.

"Sure thing", Ritchie said as he handed Maya the paper. Maya veiwed the paper for a min, then copied down the directions and adress.

Amira finally spoke" It's only 45 min. from here."

"ok-let's go now", said Hayley. Thery all stood up and started walking out of the building.

"Are you sure you guys won't get lost?" ya know, if you need any help with the directions just ask.", Heidi said, being helpful.

"Nah-we'll be fine, we've gotta map", said Abs "wqell-ok, we'll c-ya there", said Nancy.

They each went into their cars. The guys had a rented black convertible, while the girls took Maya's Lexus.
