chapter 7
Scott went in the elevator to see what was wrong with Samantha.
When he got there, he opened the door (without knocking--how rude of him). He saw Samantha sitting on a bed holding a mirror to her face and crying. There was sad Scott music (that means sad love songs that Scott listens to) playing. She spoke words of some guy's name as the tears rolled down her face.
Scott walked in and told her, "Don't cry."
She was startled by him being in her room. She told to him for him to leave her alone, but he didn't listen.
"Why are you crying?" he asked her. Scott walked slowly to the bed she was on and sat on it. Samantha quickly hid the mirror behind some blankets.
"Please leave me alone. I don't want to talk to anyone right now especially someone I've known for only a couple days."
"Please?"
"Just get out." she said softly. Sam laid back on the bed and got the mirror and looked at it. Tears started to fallfrom her face.
"Your not ugly, you know?" Scott said seeing her look at the mirror again.
"I'm not looking at myself." she said accidentally.
"Let me see that." he quickly took the mirror from her hands and looked at it. Inside was a picture of a guy with dark hair. The guy was moving, just like some kind of television inside a mirror.
"What is this?"
"That is my ex boyfriend." she replied sadly.
"What's he doing in this mirror?"
"It's not a mirror." Meanwhile back at the table, Christina and Anna were getting worried. They didn't know what to do. They both wanted to check up on Samantha, but they knew she could take care of herself. Heidi was worried for her friend also. She saw Anna's expression and could tell she was scared for herfriend just like her.
***Anna, why isn't Sam back by now?*** she thought knowing Anna would answer back.Anna shrugged her shoulders in response.
***I'll go check on her.*** Heidi thought again to Anna. Anna nodded her head. Heidi got up and excused herself from the table to check up on Sam and Scott. She went directly to her and Christina's room (they share a room remember?) and walked in. She saw Scott looking into Sam's magic mirror, and walked out quickly to tell the others what she had justseen.
"We have trouble." she said out of breath."What is it?" Julie asked.
"Guys it's the big one." the girls understood that Sam might have told their secret to Scott but hoping they were wrong.
Meanwhile, Scott asked Sam if it wasn't a mirror what was it.
"It's my cool little t.v. in the shape of a mirror." she lied knowing the others would get mad at her if she spilled their secret, and
Sam didn't want to use her power so much or she'd be weak."Oh."
"Can you go so I can take a nap?" she wasn't tired at all but it was a way for Scott to leave her alone.
"OK" he left the room and closed the door on his way out. He walked slowly back to the little restarant in the hotel. And was welcomed with a ton of questions like "What took so long?" or "What did Sam tell you?". He answered truthfully while Anna searched his mind for the real answers they wanted to know.
"He doesn't know anything, guys." she said.
"Heeyyy" Scott said a little mad by what she said."It's not that it's just..."
"Look if you are just going to insult me, I'll leave." he got up and walked to his room."What was that all about?" Abs asked.
The girls didn't answer. What were they going to say?? Anna read Scott's mind to see if Sam told why we REALLY cause chaos. The dinner had gone bad after that. The guys was mad at Anna for insulting Scott like she did, and the girls were mad at Anna for saying that and almost exposing their powers again. She can't help her power sometimes, and the only one that understands that is Sam, because she's a neutral person and doesn't like to see the group mad at each other.
After dinner, the two groups cooled off a bit and some hung out in J's room for a while. "Where's Sam?" J asked to the four people sitting with him in his room. Those people were Julie, Abs, Scott, and Heidi.
"Christina went to go check on her." Julie replied. Suddenly the door flew open and Christina came running inside with a peice of paper in her hand.
"Don't you knock?" J asked.
"Wasn't the door locked?" Abs asked. Christina ignored the questions and showed her friends the note she found in her room. The paper said that Sam was kidnapped and they know about the girls' powers. Abs read the note also and asked,
"What powers is this person talking about?"
chapter 8
The girls looked stunned at each other because they didn't know what to say. No one ever knew about their powers. They couldn't tell anyone, or they'd be sent to a lab and have tests run on them everyday. 5ive were different, though. They seemed really understanding. They had a bad feeling about it but decided toanyway.
"How about you sit down for this?" Christina told them nicely getting to the big part as slowly as possible.
"I'll find Rich, Sean and Anna and we'll tell you about it." Heidi said.
"Show them it." corrected Christina.
"Yeah." They sat on the bed or sat on the floor or on a sofa in J's room. Heidi went off to find Sean, Anna, and Ritchie. She found Anna and Ritchie talking in the restaurant and told them to go upstairs and go to J's room. She said it very seriously because this is very serious.
They walked up to J's room without questions and Heidi went off to find Sean. He was chatting (or flirting from Heidi's point of view) with a girl. She got very frustrated and walked up to Sean kinda mad.
"Sean, I need you. NOW!" she emphasized.
"Ehh." he started.
"Is this your girlfriend, Sean?" the girl asked.
"NO!" Heidi responded quickly and a little offended.
"This is just some girl I know."
"Just some girl! Boy you better get your ass up to J's room or I'll beat the crap outta you." she almost yelled.
"Sorry Heidi." he apologized.
"Bye Sean."
"Bye Natalie. I'm sorry." he started hesitantly getting to the end.
"Would you just give him your phone number so he can call you?! God your such a wuss, Sean!" Heidi couldn't stand guys who are so scared to ask for girls' numbers. "And you better call her!" she said before theygot to J's room.
"Whatever you say." he said under his breath.
Once they all were settled, the girls started out slow and verythoroughly.
"Now since we're all here--" Heidi started but was interupted.
"Sam's not here." Sean said. They all looked at him and shook their heads. He didn't knowshe was kidnapped.
"We have to tell you something that is very important." Christinasaid.
"It's about your powers, right?" Abs asked.
"What powers?" Sean and Ritchie questioned together.
"That's what we're getting at!" Heidi screamed. She just wanted to get over this already.
