chapter 3
The next day, the girls of Chaos woke up extra early to practice their dance moves to their songs. Their songs had funk and flare with a touch of girlie actions. They danced with attitude and showing it greatly. The moves were quick and difficult, but the girls seemed to know it really well and did it easily without having any trouble.
One-by-one each member of 5ive gathered around the little restaurant at the hotel. (The restaurant had a stage, and that's where the girls were practicing.) First ones down and observing them were Scott and Abs.
"Wow. They're really good. What do you think?" Scott asked.
"How did they do that?" Abs asked still watching them. They had just done some tricky little maneuver and Abs was jealous he couldn't do it too.
Scott shook his head and noticed J walking towards them. J sat by them and saw the five girls he had met the day before on the stage doing a dance. He looked at it for a second and nodded his head and asked his mates "How long have you beendown here?"
"Since Scott woke me up from his sleepwalking." Abs answered taking his attention away from the dance routine he had beenliking.J laughed.
Then Sean and Rich joined them. They sat down and watched Chaos.
"Pretty good, pretty good." Rich said noticing the complicating steps.
"Don't they ever mess up?" Sean getting envious a bit.
"No they don't." a man behind them who had been listening totheir discussion.
"Who are you?"
"I'm Patrick Olson, Julie's father. I've been watching them for as long as they got together and they never seem to screw it up--not the tiniest bit. They don't even look at each other for approval on what comes up next. They learn the steps quickly too. It's always one hundred percent perfect."
"Wow."
"And they stay dedicated. It looks as if they're not liking what they're doing, but they are having the time of their life." Mr. Olson clarified
"You just can't see it yet 'cause they are too busy getting the moves right."
The dance was over and the girls got off the stage and O. J. ran swiftly to her father and gave him a big hug.
"Hi daddy." she gave him a welcoming smile "What are you doing here? I thought you had work to do."
"It's a business trip, darling." he gave her a quick squeeze and released her. Then he told her he had to leave now, said good-bye to everyone, and left the hotel.
"That was nice of him to some out and see you." Sam saidwalking to O. J.
"Yeah girl, you have such a great dad." Heidi complimented.
Julie smiled proudly. She turned around to notice the guys and asked them "Since you saw our dance, can we see yours?"
"It's too early to be dancing, mate." Sean said tired.
"Then sing a song for us?" Sam asked excitedly hoping they'dagree to do it.
Three of the five shook their heads.
"Please?" Christina begged clasping her hands together.
"Come one. It really turns us on." Heidi said wagging her eyebrows trying extremely hard for them to do it.
"Speak for yourself!" Anna shot back.
The lads each smiled cheekily."Please?"
"Okay, but I'm not getting up." Sean said.
"All right." They each gave in and started to sing 'If Ya Getting Down'. (Don't know how that song goes but it's in this story.)
After they were finished, they tried to persuade Chaos to sing forthem.
"We can't!" Julie said.
"Why not?"
"Legal issue."
"That and my singing voice isn't too good in the morning." Christina spoke the truth.
"I'll sing for ya." Sam said with a smile.
"You like singing, don't ya?"
"Yes I do Heidi. Is that wrong?"
"I never said that."After a few moments of harmless arguing, Sam was singing alone. The others went to Julie's room, and Sam was to go there after she was finished. They had a big problem to talkabout.
chapter 4
Sam had just finished singing. The guys gave her a round of applause for her and she thanked them and ran up to Julie'shotel room.
"Those birds are really pretty." Abs said.Scott just nodded in agreement.
"They are but they're just so perfect." Sean commented.
"Yeah, did you hear that? Her dad hasn't seen them mess up."
"Rich, you're loosing it, mate." Sean told him.
"They're mad I tell ya." (mad =crazy)The guys laughed.
Meanwhile in Julie's room, the girls of Chaos were sitting around in the room. They sat either on the floor or on the bed. Soon, Sam joined them and their little meeting could begin.
AUTHOR'S NOTE:(I will use initials for this part because it's so much faster. Julie's is O for her nickname O. J.)
S "So what's going on?"
C "We have an important problem to discuss."
O "A very important problem."
H "Yeah. Thanks to Anna, those guys might know about us."
S "I seriously doubt that."
H "If Anna didn't slip up..."
A "I said I was sorry!"
S "It's okay Anna. It's not your fault. You couldn't help it."
O "Well she shouldn't have said anything to that blonde boy."
A "Ritchie. His name is Ritchie. Everyone has a name, you know? You don't see people calling you the blonde girl."
O "Blonde with a hint of red."
C "Back to business, guys."
S "I don't think we should worry about this 'cause they probably don't know a thing. They probably think we're just really strange American girls that have crazy rituals."
H "How can you be so sure?"
S "Well how 'bout we get you and Anna to find out and if you get caught come find me ASAP. Got it?"
A "Sounds good to me. Heidi?"
H "Fine but if they know, we go back all the way, right?"
C "Right."
O "Okay then."
S "Find out by tomorrow, okay?"
H "All right."
Heidi and Anna left the room together. Sam was gonna leave to go get something to eat but before she did she said
"It's a good thing, we all have such useful powers."
