chapter 1
"So we're gonna meet this new group now?" Ritchie asked.
"Yes, Rich. They're supposed to be some cute birds." J said smiling viciously. The lads of 5ive were walking through a big building looking for this new pop group they were supposed to be meeting. They were from the US and wanted to expand their musical talent internationally.
"They're supposed to be right around the corner, mate. Room....." Scott stopped to think but Abs finished."18"
"Yeah. That's right. Eighteen.""What's their name again?"
"Chaos. Where'd they get that from?" Rich asked to no one in particular. The lads all shrugged their shoulders.
They came to a door marked 18 and J grabbed the handle to the knob and turned it to reveal five young ladies. They were all in the floor with their eyes closed. The youngest looking one was in the middle sitting indian style with her shoulders on her knees. Her palms were both up and the four other girls, who surrounded her, had each one hand touching hers. They looked as if they were meditating. When they heard the door creak open, they opened their eyes to see the group in which they were to meet and put their hands down yet they didn't get up. They all looked up at the five guys that were looking at them curiously and smiled. They looked as if they knew something the other group didn't. They froze there smiling until one of the ladsspoke.
"Allow me to introduce ourselves. I'm J, this me mates Abs, Rich, Scott, and the one in the back here, is Sean."
"Hi." said the one who was in the middle. They all stood up slowly. The guys came closer and held out their hands to shake. The girls just looked at it with a confused look so they took their hands back.
"I guess birds from the states don't shake hands anymore." whispered Scott to Abs. One girl with light brown hair smiled like she knew what he had just said, but he barely even whispered it to Abs."Where did you ladies get your name from?" Rich asked in the little moment of silence.
The girls looked at each other and smiled. The youngest looking one turned back and said "We cause chaos where ever we go." She had dark black hair with brown and gold highlights. Her face was so serious, but the lads still laughed because they thought it was a joke.
Scott looked at them and saw their straight faces and stoppedlaughing.
"Why are you laughing?" the same girl who answeredRitchie asked.
"You ladies cause chaos where ever you go?" Scott asked.
Then, the girls laughed because they looked so funny thinking that they were laughing because they thought they were serious. (make sense? I hope so!)
"No. The real reason is because of our names. The first letter of our names spell chaos."
"Christina, Heidi, Anna...... Sam or Julie don't start with an O." Abs figured out. Christina, Heidi, and Anna pointed a finger to the ceiling to indicate that that was them as Abs said their names.
"I prefer O. J. " a girl with strawberry blonde hair explainedsomewhat rudely.
"O. J. ? How did you get that?" Rich asked. He wasfull of questions today.
"Julie Olson spelled backwards." she said.
"We made that nickname up for her 'cause she's the opposite of O. J. Simpson. (the guy who killed his wife)" replied Heidi. She laughed at her little inside joke, and the other four girls all grinned at their understanding ofthe riddle.
***What are they all smiling at?*** Rich asked himselfinside his head.
"It's this little inside joke between the five of us. You guys wouldn't understand." Anna said answering Rich's question. Ritchie looked surprised by what she said. It was if she had read his mind.
chapter 2
"Lots of people look at us weird because we have all these inside jokes between us and they don't get it" Anna explained. Rich was frightened by the fact she knew exactly what he wasthinking.
"I'm tired!" Christina announced changing the subject and walking to a sofa on the other end of the room to sit down.
Sam followed her and the other people scattered throughout the room.
Heidi whispered to Anna, "watch your mouth."before sitting by Sam.
Later that day, they all went to the hotel they were staying at. (They all were staying at the same hotel.) Christina fled right to her room and the other girls--plus the 5ive guys--sat in the lounge. After a while the other girls and Scott and Abs decided to turn in. They went to theirseparate hotel rooms.
"Sean, Anna is starting to scare me." Rich said still a little freaked. He kept thinking about what had happened between him and Anna the whole day and still was.
"How?" J asked joining the conversation.
"I was thinking about why they were smiling, and she answered my question, and I didn't even ask it."
"I think you should get some rest, mate." J advised.
He agreed and went to his room."Rich has some problems." Sean said to J once Ritchie was out of sight. He nodded his head. Christina came out of the elevator and saw Sean and J and decided to ask them to go out clubbing with her. They agreed and left.
Sam fell asleep immediately after she got to her room. She shared a room with Christina and since Christina left Sam had the room all to herself. It was so peaceful and quiet shefell asleep.
Julie (O. J.) fell asleep too. She had a room all to herself.
They have an odd number of girls and one always got a room to herself. Julie was the lucky one this time. Anna and Heidi (on the other hand) were in their room talking. They were wide awake but lied to talk to each other alone.
"Anna, I can't believe you. You were so close." Heidi told her.
"I'm sorry!" pleaded Anna.
"It's okay. You are so lucky Christina bailed you out back there."
"I know but Rich just seemed so confused."
"SO?!" yelled Heidi.
"Sorry."
"But he was cute!" she changed her tone of voice and had asmile on her face.
"Uh huh.""Just watch out next time.""I know."
