Summer Reading: Hiroshima by John Hersey
Tests: Students will have 3-4 tests per quarter. Any tests beyond this, the lowest grade will be dropped. the tests will be both objective and essay.
Quizzes: There will be at least 3-4 quizzes per quarter and the combined average will equal another test grade.
Homework: Homework is given on average at least 3-4 times per week. It is expected to be neat, legible, and done in an efficient manner. Any missed homework beyond the first missed will result in deduction in a point from your final grade. ex. 3 missed homework assignments a 100 now = 98 on your final grade
Paper/Project: There will be one written paper, project, or presentation per quarter. They will be both oral and written. Students are expected to demonstrate applied knowledge to these works and show how they apply to subject manner learned in the classroom.
Summer Reading: Students will have a test the first week of school on the summer reading. Students are expected to refer to main characters and the important events from this book in order to achieve an acceptable grade.
