Bio: Formed form the break up of a thrash band called ?Skull Stompers? Mikey Stixx and Unabomber?soon started to rock out on there own. Realizing that there may be some potential within them, they started writing down songs left and right, and paying homage to the metal gods with half-assed covers of Metallica, Ozzy Osbourne, Judas Priest and Danzig, amongst many others. As time passed skills improved and, with the improvement of music the band finally realized ?SHIT, WE NEED A NAME!?. Rattling through various names such as ?Hell dorado?, ?blood axe-wartooth?, ?von-slawter? and a slew of others. Finally the band after much deliberation, settled. Iron-and-Steel, a name that will bore a hole into metal anthology forever. The search for a singer began. Various people tried out, and various people were thrown aside, it seemed that Iron-and-Steel was doomed to be vocalist-less. But after a long time of sitting and thinking and auditions, the band finally cast Tom Howey as the singer. Tom had exactly the sound the band wanted after a little tweaking. But after failed attempts to make it to practice, the band reluctantly had to let Tom go. Continuing on there own Iron-and-Steel had to keep going without a singer, and with a temporary bassist in Unabomber?s girlfriend Jess. Off and on with bass, Stixx and Unabomber continued to play there hearts out and busted ass getting cover after cover down. And only recently now have the auditions for a singer started. Not long in, Iron-and-Steel got a hold of Tommy yet again, and now the band is back on its feet. Filling the void that was once there, Tom is now back, and back for good. Iron-and-Steel, the revival has arrived.
