Come Here to get all the up and comming events and news on Vellum.

To all of you who are keeping up on Vellum, I have an anouncement. There may be a new member to the band. He's a celloist and also play's the bass guitar. We're still keeping his name under wraps for right now, to allow ourselves as a band to be completely positive that he is what we're looking for; and also to give him some time to seriously consider and decide if this is what he wants. Keep checking in to find out more.

Devin and I, (Jonathan) have decided on a couple of things as far as this band is concerned. 1) I will be releasing, at an undisclosed date, a small album of piano works. On this album there will be the rapidly evolving style of Vellum. The works will be completely instrumental, and some of Devin's poetry will be included. Keep updated on this site for the release date. If it will be something your interested in, e-mail me at "vellumsoul@yahoo.com", and I will be sure to keep you informed on it's development. 2) Vellum will be withholding our unique sound and style (except for the limited album mentioned above) from the general public, to allow us a stronger impression to the masses when we emerge from our shadow. We'll be online on yahoo messenger as "vellumsoul" and "vellumdecay". Feel free to say,"hey". We'll be happy to talk to you and answer any questions you may have. It would also be great to get to know you as a person, seeing how it is you who will be supporting us. We appreciate your time and patience as we prepare to make our debut, and we look foward to the future as Vellum begins taking it's first steps into your life.

For all of you keeping up on the album of piano works by Jonathan Shelton, here is an update. "Red Fuzz Jibnit" will be finished and recorded in one months time. I would like to make a special thanks to Mitch Seeger. He has volunteered his sound recording equipment, and his time to help me produce the album. I think it is fair to mention that Mitch Seeger is an aspiring musician, and has a desire to open his own record label. Vellum shows their support in his endeavors, for we never forget a favor done for us. If you have an interest in recording, and live near central Illinois, feel free to contact Mitch Seeger at "mitchseeger@hotmail.com", and I'm sure that he would be happy to discuss an agreement. Keep checking in for more information.
