Jazz Band

The Jazz Band is a top level group for the most advanced players. All members are chosen from either Concert Band, Wind Ensemble, or Orchestra, with the exception of piano, bass, or guitar players. The Jazz Ensemble consists of saxophones, trombones, trumpets, piano, bass, guitar, and percussion instruments and performs at spring Jazz Festivals as well as at community events and concerts, as well as spring trips if offered.

Musical selections include Swing, Jazz, and Rock.

Membership into the Jazz Band is determined by instrumentation needs and audition, and is rostered for the half the shool year.
