So what gear do we use. Si uses a Squier Strat fitted with two humbuckers, ampwise he uses  a TGI Ra-10 practice amp, which can also be powered from its internal battery. He also uses a danelectro headphone amp with echo for quiet practice. Effects wise Si uses a roktek distortion pedal, Jim Dunlop Wah-Wah Pedal (mmmmm Fun),  a Behringer V-amp 2 (mmmm also fun), the Ra-10's overdrive, he also uses the echo and overdrive from his headphone amp through his main amplifier for a larger array of tones. pick wise si uses jim dunlop tortex 0.88's, stringwise zakk wylde boomers.

Dave uses a

standard Maxwin by Pearl drumkit, this beautiful kit includes:

(Junior does not mean baby size, it means the next one down; nearest quality to the Iron Cobra)

Drum Sticks

Metallica Ahead Drum Sticks:

These are the drum sticks dave is using at the current time and will be for a while as they are extremely comfortable, have good grip and are wonderful to use. Although they can be a bit heavy when doing double stroke roles. Price £26.99     Outcome: 9/10

Other Drum Sticks Dave Has Used:

Slipknot Aheads - Lightweight and good for smaller and perhaps weaker people. A very good pair of sticks though, they allow you to spin around the kit with ease and you dont feel a thing. I highly reccomend them to younger aged drummers. Price: £25.99     Outcome: 8/10

Metal N's - Very heavy wooden sticks which create a really loud sound. Good for drummers if you like creating a louder noise, eg - John Bonham(Led Zeppelin). A big problem with these is that they have red tips and there for mark your drums and cymbles red, making you polish your cymbles more regulary and wiping your drums over with a cloth, which isnt always a good idea. Price £11.99     Outcome: 5/10

Travis Barker Sticks - Wooden and quite light. Creates a hollow sound and usually used by a funky "get to know me" drummer. As that is what Travis Barker(Blink 182) is like. Price £13.99     7/10

The scratch demos being created by the band are recorded on a tascam portastudio mk11. They are then mixed down to a sony tape deck or Mini Disc. These are then buffered onto a pc running windows xp. Any keyboards or background sound effects are created using a midi keyboard and computer muzys. In the studio or on home recordings the v-amps are used and edited using the v-amp editor tool. For live use the v-amp is pre programmed and set up using the same tool. To find out more about the v-amp or download the v-amp editing tool go to www.behringer.com.
