Okay. It's official, and you, the reader, besides me.. and maybe a couple of close friends.. and.. er.. maybe a couple of acquaintances too... are the first to know:

I have fallen in love with N*SYNC

Haha, a little scary, isn't it. I'm cool with it though because I see it for what it is. When N*SYNC came about, I was too afraid to like them, afraid that I would lose my "cool" rep (like I even had a cool rep) and now that I've lost my insecurities, my inner junior higher is releasing itself in the form of an infatuation for N*SYNC. However, in the release of my inner child, I did not account for the fact that I have a really hard-core crush on Chris Kirkpatrick. He's cute. so sue me.

Exciting new updates to my life (I know you're thinking--could there BE anything more exciting than her professing her undying love for N*SYNC--I assure you.. there can)

• Not so exciting.. more like.. sad. The Brendan Leonard show got cancelled. 5 seconds of mourning. 5...4...3...2...1... okay. next happy one.
• I got nominated for Homecoming Queen! I didn't get it.. but still. quite cool, I thought.
• I have fallen in love with Homestar!--it's the coolest website EVER! "The cheat always gets scared when he sees a bear holding a shark."
• I have a BAND! It's called Cap'n Carol and the Scallywags. I play guitar and sing. And the other parts are as follows:
  • Erin, crazy and just cut her hair, bassist and vocalist
  • Abby, flag girl extraordinaire, pianist and vocalist
  • Jonathan, looks like a curly wig on his head is there, guitar and vocals
  • Josh, football quarterback and fred astaire?, drums.
• Nearly halfway through the last of my high school year!!
• It's 2 AM, sunday morning, technically, and I am on page 2 of a 5 page government paper due monday. I am sooo happy. not. really.
