Did You Catch Us LIVE?

2007
  • Wednesday, July 25 - Out To Lunch in Caras Park - 11:00 AM. We LOVE the park! This was our 3rd & final appearance at Out To lunch. We played some of the songs that people liked so much in the past, plus a bunch of new stuff - originals and covers from slightly off the off-beat path. This year we shared the bill with Uncle Daddy - the band, that is. Hmmm... wonder if they're related to Big Daddy and/or Uncle Meat... never did get the chance to ask....
It turns out that this was the Final Performance of our Farewell Tour. Due to family health issues, we had to cancel our appearance at DownTown ToNight! on August 23rd. And it seems that the group is heading in different directions with solo projects & new collaborations. Thanks for listening! We had a great time!
  • Thursday, August 23 - DownTown ToNight! in Caras Park - 5:30-8:30pm. This would have been our 2nd DTTN, but, alas, it was not to be. Early contenders to take our slot were ShoDown and Reverend Slanky. Best wishes to whoever takes our place; we hope band & audience all have a great time.
  • Sunday, September 9 - PART of The Boogiemen will play the Missoula Area Central Labor Council's 2007 Annual Labor Picnic on the Sunday after Labor Day at Missoula's Bonner Park Bandshell. Robert Harsch will take up his 5-string fretless acoustic bass guitar and join forces with mandolinist Jim Lang (and recent new member of AFM 498) to perform as 9x13. We'll have an eclectic set of cover tunes, a few original pieces, and some good ol' fashioned Union Songs! Catered Bar-B-Q, cool drinks and live music for FREE! C'mon Down!
had 3 fun-filled summers playing rock & roll together around Missoula, but it's time for us to each embark on new projects. We'd like to thank all the fans, clients and audience members who dug our sound. Keep an eye out for the band members to show up in other ensembles or on their own.

Some Sample Cuts, Uncut

These are partial songs we recorded fairly quickly for our 1st demo in Spring 2005 (before Dan joined).
We initially planned to fade out each piece after 90 seconds or so, but the endings were so much fun we left them in. Because they're fairly long, these are LOW-FI samples, converted from WAV at 48k-sample rate, but we hope they'll give you an idea of our sound.

For a more complete list of our cover tunes, peruse our Songlist.
